10yr old video and still saving lives man!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost threw this POS across my living room today.
My daughter, my dad, my son and I are forever grateful for this video. We were man handling this play pin for about 25 minutes.

The side arm doesn't always cooperate, and even though I've collapsed all the arms, and pull the center up last, I still have to go back and find one arm that isn't cooperating, and keep pressing it to get it collapsed enough to put the pad around it to Velcro it. I think it's a fault in the play pen, but it's a pain.
It is much easier to set up than take down because of it. (And that is after watching the video.)

Nearly eight years later, and you are still a hero to us all, captmoonbeam! I managed to set it up just fine. Now, I don't normally swear, but trying to take down this blankety-blank contraption had this grandma cussing like a sailor. Thank you so, so much for your how-to video!
After all these years, I still have to refer to this video on the rare occasion I have grandkids here. This is the best video and tells exactly what you need to know and nothing else. Thank you!
I tried for an hour to fold it back up and came to the same conclusion: a hell box. The release mechanisms is completely hidden and that's the key. Thanks very much for this video. A simple illustration of the need to release each of those upper struts when collapsing it would have been so easy to provide, with the ones on the product itself.

I had this crib for the hotel I’m staying in tonight. After about 20 minutes of shenanigans…. Your video saved me. Got it up and running about 20 seconds before the wife came back.
Oh my HELL! THANK YOU! You just saved me from a major embarrassment of taking this back to the store, with it partially open. I didn't do the center piece last. I had 3 sides locked and the center down, and thought I had bought a dud because I couldn't get the last side locked. I was prepared to haul it back to the store, which would have been a nightmare since it was still MOSTLY OPEN because I also couldn't figure out how to unlock the 3 sides that I did manage to lock into place. Any who I decided to look for a tutorial and found you. THANK YOU! I need a drink now.

Wife borrowed one from and online friend to contain our new puppy's path of destruction, and like you I was ready to throw it somewhere, because I couldn't find the instructions as to how to make the perimeter arms lock straight, (didn't occur to me to look on the back of the folding floor). 11 years later & this video is still helpful! we have used this playpen 3 times but dont know how we managed to put it up those times!! many swear words, a pinched bleeding hand & 20 mins later WE GOT IT UP!! LOL

Bless you! Between my wife and me, we have the equivalent of 16 years of post high school education, and couldn't for the life of us, figure out how to set the darn thing up, or take it down. The lawyer speak"instructions" at the bottom of the playpen was useless. We really appreciate you going the extra mile to help your fellow grandparent.

I have two of these and had them set up for the grandkids sleep overs. Now theat they are too big for them I wanted to take them down and sell them. So funny so many of us struggled with this crazy setup. I am a mom of 5 kids almost all grown now and even as a "seasoned Mom" I couldn't figure this thing out. Hahaha, thank you so much for the simple secret. I wasted so much time until I had to fall to my knees and succumb to an online tutorial to figure out what I thought was a basic, no brainer setup. Still relevant in 2023 😂 Just bought one of these hell box on Marketplace, my mom and I were about to fucking throw the damn thing over the window, but we found your video. You saved us, THANK YOUUUU!! 🤣
Captain this was a lifesaver, very kind and civic minded of you to do it. On mine it was essential to LIFT the short arm, then press the button till it made up its friggin mind to release, THEN push down. Here are the actual steps that finally worked for me:
Lift center,
Lift 1 short arm and press the little gray piece till it eventually releases,
then push arm down. So: lift up, press, push down.
Same with long arms and other short arm
Playpen will not be completely folded at this point!
Press gray releases again to bring 2 legs together
Then do the same with the other two legs.
Keep trying, it’s a royal pain in the arse but eventually…
Now you can wrap it with what was the floor of the plapen and is now a cover for the folded pen.
😂😂 this playpen has been whooping me for 30 mins, then I watched this video and got it done in 3 mins. Thank you
