- “I knew that something was happening when I was meditating. It was happening for me. And so, if it could happen for me, it could possibly happen for him.”
Renee came to this work with desperation and just a “tiny flicker of hope.” In the years since her young son, Sam, had been diagnosed with autism, no treatment had seemed possible. They couldn’t pursue any kind of therapy or medication - because it was too distressing for him. He simply wouldn’t comply. And so, their lives were small and isolated - Renee, her husband, and Sam, closed in their home. If anyone other than his grandmother came to visit, Sam would hide.
Renee brought her dreams of Sam being out of their home - and in the world - with her to her practice. And over time, she brought the love and healing she found in her meditations to the hours she would lie with her son, trying to soothe him so he would sleep. Their breakthrough happened when, lying there with Sam, Renee began to turn the love she was sending to him back on herself. She felt a surge of love open her heart - and from there, everything changed.
“As I got better, he got better. And as he got better, I got better,” Renee says today. “And things escalated.” In a short time, her vision of her smiling little boy - connecting with others and beloved in the world - became a reality.

This happened to my son too. I meditated using Dr. Joe’s meditations and applied his work to our life. I did this at home, I haven’t been to the retreats or workshops. It is my hope to attend in 2024. It’s been now a year and my son no longer has autistic symptoms. He is free…..I am forever grateful. He gets to fully be present and enjoy his life. To everyone asking what meditations to use. It's not about using a meditation for a specific purpose, just start any one of them, and the one you need will come to you. Once you do the work, your own path will reveal itself. Everyones journey is totally unique, it will come to you, just start. Go for it.

The best one is the one that moves you the most it seems, that is, your favorite. Doesn't even have to be dr joe. Sometimes I just listen to music.
Can you imagine his story, My mom comforted me until she found a way and healed me and set me free at 6 years old.
I needed to hear this testimonial! This is the second testimonial in the past few months about a mother healing herself to heal her child. I saw your testimony in person and I could feel the Hope rising in my body and soul. My daughter is on the spectrum and has always needed an incredible amount of attention and care. I also homeschooled her. I also witnessed her daily suffering and had to constantly manage my own. We were also attached at the hip. Hearing your testimony inspired me to understand that my own well being will have an impact on hers. In my advanced retreat I kept hearing the voice to LEAD. And I now understand that she needs to see me be an example of how to work with and overcome suffering. She is an adult now., 28 years old. She just graduated from the Orlando course. She is embracing it and is A DIFFERENT human being. She inspires ME and is understanding how to regulate the incredible intensity of her emotions. I was in the audience in Denver last summer (2023) when Renee gave her testimony about her son. It was as thrilling to listen again here! It's so wonderful that children who have autism can heal so well from the example of a parent. I'm so grateful for the day I went to my church to listen to Dr. Joe in 2010. That began my journey of following him and watching how quickly he was in demand! His own personal story led the way and I know he loves his worldwide community as he tells us so very often! Oh my gosh, never until I stepped into this community of people (from all over online not just in Joe’s video comments), have I heard beliefs about Autism that matched with mine. I have always felt that the current way of viewing and treating Autism is wrong. And I would join then abruptly leave autism parent’s support groups because it was I was in the twilight zone, the way people spoke about their children, the medicating etc.

I am always hungry for listening to Dr.Joe or the testimonials before I sit for meditation. And then something this Powerful comes along…just gets the heart open wide. Gratitude to the Dispenza Team for keeping this testimonial long and detailed. Every time a testimonial in these last 1-2 years come cropped and edited, I feel utterly disappointed. This is so important... You just teach me how to think better about myself. I had a lot of violence in my childhood and suffered a lot in my life. I have 3 years taking distance from my family that always treated me as the looser broken one. They made me feel small all my life. So 3 years ago I started learning about all this things but always felt like something missing and listening to you made me realize that maybe I didn't attract to get abused but from there... all the thoughts I got after these events was grudging about my childhood and attracting people who betrayed me, pulling me down, and keeping me small. You have the possibility to turn this around and attract from now on loving and caring people into your life. It’s not fair that your life had to start this way but it doesn’t have to continue this way and by learning the lesson, you will free yourself and the future generations from that negativity.

Hearing Renee in person at the advanced week-long retreat was so powerful and inspiring! I am grateful to see her story posted and hope that it seeds hope for many that may be suffering. I'm new to this community. I'm so inspired by this story and know that as I heal myself, I will heal my son. (also from autism)
I have been practicing Dr. Joe's meditations and I'm not sure I know what I'm doing but I have been feeling amazing, I can tell I'm slowly starting to believe in possibilities. Out of no where my son who has only been eating mostly the same liquified food, is starting to eat a variety of foods. Foods with different textures! I have to believe that this is connected to my meditations.. am I really healing my son?
My son is continuing to try different foods… I’m envisioning the possibility that he will use words and start talking. Writing here helps me continue to believe anything is possible…. ❤

i would like to heal my daughter, she has a kidney disease and just had a kidney transplant, but the disease came back (FSGS)
