I can spot INFP's from a mile away. And they are by far my favourite type. My closest friends are all INFP's. We, INFJ's can get along with pretty much anyone, cause we can see where ppl are comming from, but so far the only ppl I was able to open up to are INFP's. Individuality, creativity, spontaneusness and that sense of adventure combined with gentle soul just gives me so much hope in humanity. We love you guys and will always have ur backs.

As an INFJ, I love INFP.Never think you are useless or unloved. You guys are amazing and you don't even know it.I think right now,the world needs healthy INFP the most.We admire your way of defying the status quo.Your moral compass, your high values, your unshakable morals,is what is needed right now.No better type is more equiped to fight for a cause than you.Your sense of justice,of equality,of liberty...is what keeps the world from becoming an evil place. The passion, the beauty, the emotions, the art,the creativity, the childlike excitement is what brings life to the world. We need dreamers. You guys are so special, and I pray that you can bring this light to others, and people can see you for who you truly are.Unfortunaltly, the world isn't built for people like you,you are the misfits of society. But you are the one who can change it.I know that you can feel misunderstood, that your emotions are so deep, that it can crush you, that your negative experiences are so real, that you keep replaying over and over again. It can feel like a curse. But it's not,it's a gift, your deep emotions can create miracles. And when you have experienced something that somebody else has,you can have such a deep understanding and emotional connection, and relate to them,in a way that even us INFJs can't do.
Please take care of yourself, find methods that work for you, don't beat yourself up,try to heal from the past, get out of your comfort zone, try new experiences,be open minded, broaded your perspective and let the world see your light.Because you truly are special. The world needs you to shine. We love you so much our dear INFPs.💖 -From an INFJ😊

Very true. They are so awesome in so many ways. Grace under fire , man ! You can always count on them to have a level head and see the many perspectives involved in situations...... unfortunately this very thing can get "em down sometimes (cognitive dissonance; they can see that both sides of a dilemma are viable.) They deliver the goods, though because they very carefully examine considerations before thinking or acting.

Im a 31 y/o INFP. I don't want this to come across as a rant or lecture AT a younger person. Just some observations and opinions that I hope you can find helpful in some way. So if you're up for it....
Balancing idealism with the reality of the slow moving nature of human consciousness can be a real pain in the ass. Being a misunderstood emotional dumpster is no picnic either. But it's nice to know that there are people like this guy who really appreciate what you bring to the world and he's not nearly the only one. Those little acts of kindness and empathy spread far beyond what we will ever see. Don't take that to mean you shouldn't remove yourself from bad or one sided relationships. Just know that there is a place for your Unique Individual Self in this world where you can put your good intentions into practice, fully express your authentic self and have a profound influence on the people and world around you.
I can't presume to tell you who your "best" or "fulfilled" self is or where to find them, that's on you. But I wish you all the best on your journey. Go with love and patience. And I hope the world is allowed to experience the full extent of the gifts you have to offer it.

I think you just made all the INFPs watching, including me, cry. In a good way of course.
Friendship is something that's very special and dear to INFPs and we tend to put a lot into it.
I personally made the experience that people open up to me quite quickly and tell me all about their problems and no matter in what mood I am, I always listen to them because it helps me too. It gets very depressing to hear about all this pain and sadness in the world, though :/
My best online friend is an INFJ and although we aren't real-life friends, we are really close. Listening to him suffering so often (he is struggling with all sorts of stuff right now) makes me very sad, but then noticing that he is happier whenever we texted or talked for a while, brings me joy.
We get along very well and I totally appreciate how gentle and kind he is. He is honest, but in a and nice healthy way. And we have very much in common.
I sent him this video to ask about his opinion on it, hehe

As an infj, there are probably 2 people in my life I feel comfortable sharing my really difficult emotions with: my dad (an infp) and best friend. I’m generally a very positive and happy person. But the other day I was sobbing because of something my mom said to me, and I very reluctantly texted my newish boyfriend to ask if it was at all possible for him to talk since I’m trying to be more open (he’s an infp). Immediately he called me, and asked me what was wrong, and he listened patiently the whole time as I started crying again, and at the same time was able to give me some of the kindest and most beneficial advice I’ve ever been given about looking after myself. But that talk shocked me, because no one (except perhaps my dad) has ever listened to me so well. He’s the first person I’ve met that actually makes me want to become a better person.

Aww you are the sweetest. INFP won’t judge because I don’t think we ever feel that we have any right to. I think we realise there is nothing people tell us about themselves/what they have been through or done, that we can’t imagine or haven’t already lived/imagined ourselves. As an INFP, I feel like I would be betraying myself by passing judgment on another person.

I'm an INFP and my very best friend was an INFJ (unfortunately we don't talk anymore for multiple reasons, but i do still care for him deeply and i think i always will) and he always understood me better than anyone else. There were times where i reacted to something in a certain way, and i didn't had the need to explain myself because he already knew everything, already understood me, and i don't think there's any other personality who can empathize and care for us as deeply as INFJs do. INFJs pick on so many little details about us that we often dismiss because nobody else care or see them, but you guys do, INFJs see EVERYTHING, detail per detail and they don't let you know right away, but they remember. INFPs also crave being understood and seen by others so much and being able to experience that with INFJs is incredible!
He would always struggle to understand himself and be as empathetic to himself as he was to me, and to know now how he felt when i "healed" him (i almost cried when you said that 💕) it's an amazing feeling. Thank you for this video 💗
I often see mockery of us being so emotional and "naive", and to see someone actually care about us like this warms my heart ❤️

@@DuelingPersonalities Controlling people is just complete anathema to us INFPs. I think the need for authenticity in any of our relationships with others translates into utter disdain for anybody who uses any form of power to control others - it's a basic ethics thing.
Going of on a slight tangent, I wonder if this is the root cause of why I've always had a real dislike/distrust of any form of authority that's been bestowed rather than earned? I'd rather live in a world with little form of hierarchies, where any form of authority comes from genuine expertise and/or experience.

As an infp my closest companions are infjs. They do talk to me about their feelings. And very attentive to my comments cause i would usually blend it with my past experiences even though it might not be similar to them, but i find them intrigued by it. Because sometimes infjs can be quite selfish in a sense that they are not that eager to listen to our problems in return, thats why i would incorporate my story into their problems. And tts ok cause they appreciate it and through feelings, i relate to them the most. I hope this makes sense cause sometimes infp still have more explanation inside despite having had explained it.

As an INFP, thanks for this. We love you too.
I’m a male INFP, and two of my best friends I’ve ever had, I know one to be an INFJ and the other I strongly suspect is as well. These two are two the best people I’ve ever known and I’m grateful to have them.
To speak to Reason #4, believe me, it’s euphoric for us, too. To have someone we care about open up to us and pour their hearts out is something we thrive off of, whether we realize it or not. We as INFPs value our friends over everything else, and we want you to be happy, want you to be able to vent if you need to, and want to be allowed to share in your ups and downs.
Reason #5 is on the money too. As you say, a key feature of INFPs is our strong self-identity, and being easily able to understand and identify our emotions quickly. So when others struggle with their own feelings, we’re happy to help. I, at least, crave to help others with their emotions. Especially those younger than me. Maybe being a male INFP, perhaps I have some masculine instinct that’s activated in a unique way.

“Just got shrinked” 😂 I’m stealing that! I did that all the time as a teenager. I loved it. Not in a manipulative way. We are genuinely interested in people. I found it fascinating that the majority of people never noticed in the moment but only later. It was even more surprising that they hadn’t noticed I hadn’t shared 1 thing about myself. Interestingly, most viewed it as a mysterious power when in reality it only came down to asking questions. The majority of people only talk about themselves.

We are all those things on occasion. The thing with us INFJ's is, we are all about constant improvement and personal development. It makes it easier to go trough life and collect good karma. We don't get how majority of ppl feel no need to change for the better, cause just a few tweeks in all of us could make this world a Heaven for all. What I am trying to say is, do not take her words as permanent judgement of you. She has seen you act in a certain way in some situations and wants to point it out to you, so you can develop from there. The ppl we dnt care about, we dnt frett, we leave them to their ways, but if we love you, we will pester you to change, because we want to see you happier in your future. 🤷‍♀️

Must be nice, since my dad is an ESTJ, my mum an ESFJ, my sister an ISTJ (so at this point you pretty much guess how my life was growing up). My best friends so far have been an unhealthy INTJ, two ISTPs and a narssisistic ESTP. Needless to say, I'm no longer friends with either of them. I'm doing pretty good with my parents now and I'm doing even better with my sister though because of Fi-Si. She keeps me grounded when I need it!

Thank you for this explanation. I'm an INFJ so lucky to be married to an INFP. I fell in love with him because I could sense that he was deep enough that I could be completely real with him - the first person I'd met in 40 years who was like that! His true integrity healed me of past misconceptions about relationships, before I'd even gotten to know him very well. I've always been someone who would give up something if someone else wanted it - but he would honor my preference and insist that I keep it for myself. And when I bring to him something I'm struggling with, he never gives a pat answer, but takes a few minutes, thinks about it, and says exactly what I need to hear. Like you said, a different perspective, but often the one I've missed. Just being near him makes me happy. What a blessing to have him in my life!

This brought tears to my eyes. It made me feel so good to know I could offer these things to others, I actually felt a wave of gratitude, it is humbling because I am well aware I didn’t choose my nature; it’s something I I have sensed from others but when you spoke it so clearly, I felt it in my heart. My closest friend - soul sister is an INFJ. In a similar way, you guys see us in ways that others dont’… and then you have a way of putting it in such a clear, direct, convicting way... you INFJs are equally amazing, soul warriors with your words that are like silver swords cutting the mist. Thank you so much ♥️

As an infp who for a long time tried to run away from her "predeterminated" personality. I can tell that I feel really grateful for everything you said. I usually try hard to hide when something affects me so people won't take advantage of it, but I'm seriously so hurt when something happens and I feel so deep inside me anytime someone tells me how they feel. But because of my environment I didn't show it so often since it's seen as weakness. But I would cry later for all the charge of emotions I was holding. I'm trying to start showing people my "real version" and is really helpful seeing what others think about it. I'm genuinely happy and grateful

Thank you so much for this video. These are actually what my boyfriend(INFJ) said to me as well, and it was really empowering. I still think that INFJs are way much better at figuring out what others feel, and knowing exactly the right words to say to make others feel better and understood. (Just like you, Johnny.) That's an amazing, almost magical gift that INFJs have. Even when the world is against me, I feel like I could always find shelter in INFJs. And you INFJs, can count on INFPs to do the same for you. WE LOVE YOU!!!

Thanks for the kind words. I guess this healing capacity we infps have is much because of the fact we don´t judge people for not being on top of things all the time, or having out of the box-ideas or lifestyles. We´re probably the opposite of the "tough love-get your shit together"-approach. Also, it´s very interesting how infps and infjs are so similar and so different at the same time.

I feel so seen and understood as an INFP, which is such a RARE feeling for me. I have noticed that I get along extremely well with INFJs and that we seem to mesh almost on a cellular level. It's like meeting a long lost best friend every time I encounter an INFJ. I feel safe with them. It's hard not to fall deeply for an INFJ in my honest opinion. INFP are true healers.
I've talked with many people but how they say things, how they come with a new perspective works very well with me. It feels like they heal my heart.
And even though I've read that Fi might clash with Fe, I think that it helps when an INFJ is in Ni-Ti loop. In that state we don't care, we don't feel and their Fi makes us return to Fe and get in touch with our feeling side, which can get us out of the loop. With other types, especially sensors, the advice I get is usually "You shouldn't feel like this. Get over it!" but INFP are understanding and they are more like🤗 and they say you are hard on yourself and how amazing you are in another aspect of your life. I just hope that I also help them somehow.

Wow as an infp, i think the reasons are mutual.. People tend to think I'm too emotional if I open up, I feel judged and often misunderstood. But with my infj friends, I feel comfort. They are so brave with their emotions it's admirable. They are empathetic and great listener as well. I don't usually like to open up even though people open up to me a lot. But it's easy with infj. I truly felt understand and appreciated. My infj friends often doubt themselves as if they don't deserve the love the good but they have the most pure soul. I am amazed how they don't see that. World need more of infjs

LOL. I kid, I kid. I love my little INFJ alien squad. They have no idea how rare and magical they are, so I constantly remind them. I'm an INFJ-T with 95% (Fe) and 90% (Se) and I don't have any idea of what emotions I feel so I find myself in the Nothingness of agony and despair without hope. I have removed everyone from my life. Including the INFP that I could just sit in her energy doing nothing eles and feel the healing process happening. Now I will not allow anyone to be held back by me. Nor will I ever allow anyone close to me. 50 feet away and I know exactly what everyone is feeling. This also works for identifying metals, crystals, gems, and the one time I activated a old phone that had no Sim card and drove all over town with the wifi off yet streaming TH-cam music videos. So I now focus internally unlocking and pushing the limits on what I can do with my souls energy signature.
