Hi Brian Phillips, I stood next to one that was in the Confederate Air Force Show. Though it had its engine from a B-25 Mitchell medium bomber. It was named " Fugu ". The Japanese word for pufferfish. It was flown by an elderly Doctor. He pointed out the patched battle damage on the rudder and the starboard side rear fuselage. A few years later the Doctor sold it a man of Japanese descent that lived in San Diego. Several months later the San Diegan belly landed it at an airport. I've lost track of it since and don't know if it is air worthy. " Fugu " is the same color as your R.C. Plane. (then again " Fugu " could have been grey colored. (My antique feeble brain is waffling on the color.) " Hey! " P.S. Instead of a K.F.C. Deodorant product. Couldn't one just wipe the underarm with a piece of chicken? It would be a hit with the local cats & dogs. P.P.S. I'm t5hinking the color situation is: " Fugu "was grey colored, but I prefer the green colored " Zeros " & " Kates ".
My favorite model of all and the Japanese ZERO was my very first RC Model that I purchased back in early 2002. It was the Grand Wind Servo (GWS) Zero and it as well had a tendancy to climb at full throttle. The adjustment of the Horizontal stab was helpful. This one from FMS is just a dream! Thank you so much for this video!
YES! Great audio AND camera work. I have watched other RC channels and the camera work is shakey and just terrible compared to the BP Camera Crew! Another RC channel I watch a lot has pretty good camera work, but almost always has a lot of heavy breathing in the camera mic. Glad to see Brian and his family doing great work, doing what they love, and able to make a pretty good living!
I've got that 1100 Zero and totally love it. Flown the wings off almost. Been flying it on 4S lately and it tears it up. Its capable of knife edge on 4S! The one big downside is the tail wheel is VERY easy to break off since the rod that connects the little wheel to the control horn inside the fuselage is plastic. I've bought at least 3 of them from FMS via MotionRC. Pain! But it's well worth the hassle since this Zero flies so good. Oh and I also installed a FPV cam which is a ball. A buddy flies a Corsair FPV and we have show stopping dogfights 😀
This channel is always the first to bring you in depth videos !!! Tbh the hobby would take a dive with out Brian Phillips and his camera crew !! Appreciate you guys for your work 🎉❤️❤️💯💯
Love the 1100 Zero- I put the FMS high speed power train in mine. That baby JUMPS! Might even get away from the FMS F6F... and I see you're wearing your winter sandals!
Thanks BPRC! I just got one on Black Friday and going to maiden this weekend. Now I have an idea of how to take off. I come from EDF's as first planes. Coming to warbirds to learn how to be a better pilot.
Try their 1100mm Hawker Typhoon next. Love mine....since I finally got the CG correct. 1100mm is a fun size. Zero looks fantastic! Nice detail on the underside of the split flaps. And those wheel doors on a small-ish scale plane? How cool is that. Beautiful sunset. And the pond work site is fun to see. How about a drone FPV recording up high for us? Cheers from Annapolis Maryland
Watched your review on the 800 Trojan. Bought one but then saw another video about having full experience with having flaps and retractable landing gear. Wish I just opt for the larger Trojan for that experience. Haven’t flown plan in years and getting back. Last plane was a phase 3 f16 and it was a blast.
I ordered two Rangers (one for me and, the other for a family member) from FMS to start learning, they printed the shipping label.... been sitting in CA for 4 days not shipped out yet.... NGL, I'm impatiently waiting.... :D
Very nice, i have been looking at the 1100mm Zero for a long time, i have the 800mm still to maiden, would be great to review the 1400mm Zero in the future Brian as you have reviewed both the 800mm and 1100mm now. 😉😁
Very nice evening flight. I got to ask. Does KFC deodorant really taste like Chicken? 🤣. That’s just funny. I see the pond is coming along. Lookin good. 😊👍

Thanks! Was wondering if it was something I did wrong.
Just love your audio quality it is so much better than anything else on TH-cam. Just excellent.

FMS is knocking it out of the park lately. Great flights Brian and great camera work Meagan!
That looks awesome. Sounds pretty good to.
Brian great review and flying around with a little gear stress testing. 😊😅. Fantastic video by the Camera Crew. Jeff in LA USA

YES finally! I have this plane and I love it!!

I crashed mine over the summer but it was definitely my best plane to fly. Only complaint is the tail wheel doesn’t last that long 😂
Beautiful.
Devine 🇯🇵 Wind.

Run up each of them just a little it will adjust the trim and keep it level. I've been doing on the little planes that you've been had and weight to.
From Japan. What a wonderful flight technique ! I also fly the same aircraft, but I can't fly like this.

Awesome Zero! but a 1700mm version would be a knock out da park
DANGIT! I just ordered a plane, now I really want this one too…
love this little warbird and also love my Freewing F-8e Crusader 64mm. CAN YOU PLEASE PLEASE DO THIS ONE Brian and camera crew
I have this plane. With stock motor, 40 amp ESC, 1" smaller 3 blade prop and 4S 2200, it is on fire. Pulls 35 A at WOT.
Nice!
Cool plane
I’m ordering this soon and took note of your flap/elevator mix in the setup video. Were you happy with it or did you need to adjust? Thanks 😊
Great Bird Brian Can you tell me how to setup flaprons on my FREEWING F16 70mm it doesn't have flaps
From Zero To Hero, I have nothing else to contribute
Ahhh man I have this in my cart but with the new 182 I don’t know. 😂
Very nice evening flight. I got to ask. Does KFC deodorant really taste like Chicken? 🤣. That’s just funny. I see the pond is coming along. Lookin good. 😊👍
Great video … is this a rerelease from the 2015 release? I want one
It looks really scale 😊👍
Aarons, if you move them up equally a little, they will drop the nose
Cool looking plane. What happened to the power lines you used to fly under all the time?
They were put under ground if i remember right or something
It is a bomb not a drop tank I believe. Also can you do the 1400mm A6M too
Brian, could you review the FMS Hawker Typhoon 1.1, would be interested on your opinion on this as its a tricky one to set up with its short nose.
NIIIIICE 👌🏻
Finally Zero 1.1m
Super👍
nice 🙂
Might have damaged it on previous landing on maiden flight.😢
4s only way to run this bird. Shes a rocket🔥
Instead of equipping it with the AR631, how about an AR15? You know just in case of hostiles.
