I have added a few links in this video's description now for topics related to Domain 4. These will sure help you. Also, try searching AHIMA's HIM body of knowledge with the tasks listed in Domain 4 and you will find a lot of resources to review. These can help you understand the concepts to some extent, but they are quite extensive.

I'm cpc certified. I want to how to become ahima pcs trainer. For this need to get ccs certificate and then do pcs trainer certificate or can do pcs trainer certificate directly. I'm in coding field currently ip speciality
Getting CCS certification is an added advantage, however, to be a trainer you will need a lot of practice and understand the inpatient concepts for PCS thoroughly. AHIMA has a formal ICD trainer program as well but it is very expensive.
What course to purchase in order to prepare for the exam? Already know ICD 10 and CPT
If you are self preparing and wish to have a good book for the exam practice, then look for this CCS Exam prep book from AHIMA. This is an ebook so if you purchase, its available immediately.

Hi sir, CPC , CCS in these two certification Which is most preferable and best one .....
Both are equally good. It depends on whether you are looking for outpatient or inpatient coding. Outpatient CPC is preferred but for Inpatient I would suggest CCS.

You can go for CCS directly as long as you are prepared to spend time on learning and practice.
how many points for 8 case studies?
Only 6 case studies out of the 8 will be scored and two are pre-test questions, but there is no way to identify which ones are pretest.

how many points for 8 case studies?
Hi Thanusha. To answer your question straight, there are no specific number of points for the case studies. Get the principal diagnosis correct on all case studies and that is the key to pass. To make it easy, I would say all case studies together make up for almost 120 to 150 marks in the exam out of the total 400.
