Doesn't matter how many times I watche the two Emu/Parado scenes. Emu effing "Killing" Parado just to make sure he learns the value of life is INSANE. And then when he bring Parado Back, noticing how he is doing his best to not cry or show how much he feels parado gives ME Feelings. Rememberinh they share a heart, Emu felt every bit of Parado's Fear, Sorrow and then Regrets. I F*cking love this show, I still don't understand how some people dislike Emu as a character or MC. But oh well...
The mention of Johnny Maxima in Episode 40 was to promote the summer movie, which you can wait until the last episode to watch as it is the true series finale.
The Mighty novel x (the story, not the power up) would be good read because it sheds light on emu's actual character and backstory and introduces the most busted power in Kamen rider that isn't ohma zio. He's not as happy go lucky as the show portrays him, you can't be a kamen rider mc without a troubled past after all. If you want to read it, do so after the specials because it takes place after the show and special movies (ignoring Kamen Rider Outsiders, those came out after the novel)
I like how complicated the relationship of Emu and Parad is. Like, the rule of the world is that a Bugster only gets a plain existance once the host dies, so it's always one or the other. Emu is the only one that gets a "half baked" Bugster that can exist while the host is still alive. And Emu also needs Parad because he can't really have the same compatibility surgery. From the get go we are fed crumbs that Emu has a split personality, and at points Parad straight up is (and sometimes isn't) the other half of Mighty Brothers. Emu has to learn the hard lessons through Parad, and at the same time, Parad has to be thought empathy and the value of life through Parad. It bothers me a little bit that in the end we never really get a "Muteki Brothers" or something, because I think we absolutely should.
It was crazy Emu thought to make Parad develop empathy by literally instilling the fear of death into him
Nothing is scarier than when the goofball like Emu stops smiling
High-key, this is like one of my favorite episodes of ex-aid, I love just the rawness of parads breakdown infront of emu
Ex-Aid is a wonderful Kamen Rider that makes you realize the importance of life as the story progresses toward the end : )
12:13 if you questioning why he did not stop, it's a suicide actually, they just mention it in the novel
21:00 fun fact, the song Masamune is humming is his own character theme song, ironically entitled "Justice", and sung by the actor himself
31:20-the Mighty Brothers on stage.
The fist bump was CLEAN
Simply, Kamen Rider Cronus "Reset" ability is prototype for Kamen Rider Regard Omega "Reverse" ability. Cronus is first user of "Time Reverse" concept

Emu and parad are like brothers

Muteki Brothers would have been a nice idea.
