Kamen Rider Build is 1 of my favorite Kamen Rider series! Every character is great, the plot and stakes keep getting higher and higher,the plot as well! You have to watch the 2 movies after the series, trust me, you will see why.
The scriptwriter who came up with the story for Kamen Rider Ex-Aid was later selected to write the script for Kamen Rider Zero-One as well, but filming was halted due to the impact of the pandemic and various other circumstances meant that the story ended up developing differently from what he had originally wanted to create. He later made his comeback as a Kamen Rider scriptwriter with Kamen Rider GEATS.

Can't believe it's over already. I was fun watching Ex-Aid along with you and being reminded why it's my favorite Rider season (despite some flaws). And yeah this final arc was very JoJo-esque.
Maaan, time sure flies by. Can't believe it's been the entire season already. I love Ex-Aid and them might be fighting words, but I think Masamune overstays his welcome for a while. I still don't like how they didn't have the balls to give Nico the means to turn into Cronus and actually pull the trigger on Gamedeus; but we do get a very emotional scene for Taiga that almost makes it worth. Also how they keep faking deaths kinda cheapens the effect after a while. But Dan Kuroto is such a treasure in this show that he's been one of the most recurring characters not only in recent Kamen Rider, but just in the franchise period. The action is dope the entire season through. A few bumps on the road along the way, but Yuya Takahashi knocked it out of the park with this series. All the plot twists feel rewarding, and just about everything feels natural to the plot. Not a lot feels like it's being forced or coming out of nowhere. There's a reason why this season is so popular all these years later still.
Oh man a great ending as always, Ex-aid will always be my favorite Rider!! Ooh I hope you'll watch Build, it's also a great series, oh who am I kidding they're all great!!🤣🤣

As some have commented, the story had yet to end. The order to watch next is as follows, 1. True Ending 2. Heisei Generations Final (Build x Ex-Aid crossover) 3. Hyper Battle DVD (optional but it helps set up the trilogy) 4. Another Ending Brave and Snipe 5. Another Ending Para-DX with Poppy 6. Another Ending Genm Vs Lazer If you are skipping Build, you will lose a lot of context from Build side in the Heisei Generations Final crossover movie. You can skip the Hyper Battle DVD but may let you wonder how this particular person went rogue in the trilogy. After the trilogy, you're pretty much done with Ex-Aid. Except for 1 guy tho... he aint done as of this comment 🤫
