Hello Sergio. I usually don't post many comments, but I felt compelled to do so. You are a true inspiration to me. I love your style, your way of painting, of capturing the beauty of the miniatures you make. Thanks to you, I started creating my own miniatures, and for that, a big thank you.
Thank you so much! My team and I have spent many weeks creating these videos, and it’s been a challenging but rewarding process. Your support means the world to us. @@Sergiocalvominiatures The NMM always blows me out of the water..it looks more like gold than real gold. You are so incredibly skilled in understanding light and the way it reflects on the metal and I love to see you work your magic, Maestro.
Absolutely love that reflection on the pauldrons, the fish eye lens aesthetic is a killer touch. Fantastic work as always, looking forward to your next creations.
This is the second video I’ve seen of yours and I’m hooked. You do incredible work, but I love the non-verbal enlightenment I get from watching. It’s amazing how much you can learn from someone without them having to explain it all. Watching your approach is learning from a pro.
Thank you! My team and me work really hard hard to bring this jewel to TH-cam, I hope we could grow our community and stay here a lot of time sharing my art
Inspirant et fabuleux ne sont que les quelques mots qui me viennent à l'esprit quand je regarde ce vidéo. Merci de partager vote talent et votre passion!!!
And this is why I subbed to this channel. Its an experience. The music, the shots of you painting and filling up the airbrush. Everything about it is just one giant experience and unlike other painting channels. You have inspired me massively in finding my own style and using different textures to represent things on minis.
Thank you so much for your kind words and support! It truly means a lot to me and my team after all the hard work we’ve put into creating these videos. Your encouragement inspires me to keep pushing my creativity and giving my best to each project. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to share my passion with you. The belt. How you made the belt look like actual purple pearls is mind-blowing. I wasn't even sure what you were doing until you added all the small reflections and then it completely blew me away. You're an absolute master.
@@Sergiocalvominiatures The second you stated bronzing the skin with the air sprayer. The underlay of shade toning and highlights just made that bronze skin on the left torso just explode.
Maybe I'm hearing things, but I think this is the same music track (or part of it) used during some of the saddest scene in Critical Role EXU Calamity. With my man Cerrit Agrupnin especially. Idk if that's all a crazy coincidence or not! Absolutely incredible work man. Wow.
Also Sergio were do you get the inspiration for your bases? That's something I really like because it's something you're creating and I love that idea of adding my imagination

Amazing work as always man! Do you (or others reading this!) have tips for airbrushing such small areas with precision? Is it something like 5 psi, high dilution, .15 needle?
Una curiosidad, has imprimado sobre la peana negra y no pasa nada? Pensaba que no se debía. Quizás es porque me parece apreciar que tu peana no está recubierta por chapa de madera. En cualquier caso, la imprimación servirá como esmalte? Gracias Sergio.
Hi Sergio,, that's really impressive. I have a question for you... actually two: is there a reason why u not using washes and do you cover your miniatures with some kind of varnish on the end??
It'll be to remove excess paint, either before taking it to the mini or before washing the brush. Looking at how he twists it as he does so, I suspect it's before taking it to the mini - the twist is to shape the tip, which is pointless if you're about to wash it. I prefer using the back of my hand/thumb for this purpose, as it means I can physically feel how much paint is in the brush. There might be some more nuance/advantage to using the sponge, I'm not sure.
I use the own brushes I’ve designed with Escoda, a company with a very good name in the art world. You will be able to buy them after my Kickstarter at my website 😊
I think so , I still have her in my life☺️ She is part of all this, without her it would not be possible. She is part of the team and the magic we create
Who am I to judge Sergio but even the best can make mistakes and I think he painted the reflection as if the surface is concave and not convex. Does is seem like this to anybody else?
Surface is convex, it's the volume of the shoulder. If it was the other way around you can just invert the reflection. As it's basically a ring of trees it would kinda work and look cool either way I guess.

Hi Sergio,, that's really impressive. I have a question for you... actually two: is there a reason why u not using washes and do you cover your miniatures with some kind of varnish on the end??
I don’t paint with washes or dry brush or similar techniques, I created my own style painting which one is more and more popular every time 😊🥹🫶
Newd to ask, why and what are the sponge you use for the brush? 🤔

@xXSEGISMUNDOXx You a are right. I confused the words myself. I am not a native English speaker. But my point remains that the reflection seems wrong.
I use the same shape as reference to understand the effect and then create the idea, but maybe next time I’ll do it better 😊
