Every reviewer misses the fact that if you want good contrast ratio on a budget you have to get a VA pannel and no one makes a flat VA with good specs!

I just got a 32Q 165 hz and I'm impressed! My Sammy 32 VA 144 hz curved was artifacting badly so I wanted to switch to IPS. I prefer IPS now.... Omen seems to has a faster response maybe due to 165hz? For $230, I think it's the best banging for the money unless you need the best color accuracy!

What do you mean by the source being "set" to 60hz? My laptop usually runs between 30fps to 80fps will vrr work?

I see red traces when scrolling in the texts when I set the night monitor mode, is this normal?

    • @RTINGSdotcom
      @RTINGSdotcom  ปีที่แล้ว

It isnt something we experienced during testing, so it might be best to reach out to the manufacturer for additional support!

@@RTINGSdotcom Thanks for the quick response, I also see purple borders or gohsting for example when passing a black object or text on a light background, and text that changes color when it moves. This in any monitor mode or response time setting I try. I imagine this is because of the slow speed of VA panels with dark colors. But the really annoying thing is when I set night mode, because I use the monitors in that mode half the time and scrolling through text is a bad experience. Luckily I bought it recently and I can return it.

Hello ! Love the videos, I m interested in this monitor, and I have a question : I love playing with colorful games, I know that I can increase the digital vibrance on Nvidia control panel, but I m wondering, does this display has vibrancy setting to make the colors more « colorful » or the 27c doesn’t have this feature ? If not, where could I increase the vibrancy on this display ?

@RTINGS can you recommend a simple smart TV for my grandad?
Stereo typical old person. Hates technology until he figures out how to use it.
Ie. got him a cheap iPhone because I think iOS is the easiest to learn. Hated it until he found out he could browse old cars on the Autotrader app.
I'd appreciate any advice on what you think would be the easiest, most straight forward TV operating system. I personally own a Sony (Android) and an LG. No chance I'd get him a Sony as I'm tech literate and Android TV still winds me up. So I'm leaning towards LG.
Also cheap, because he's not going to appreciate it 😂

Unfortunately, this is a different monitor so it likely performs differently. We just can't speak to performance specifically as we don't have our own data. Sorry about that!

I can answer. Do you game at all. Maybe you already bought it. The Hisense u7g 55" goes for 600$ on sale and regular 650$. The 65" is regular $899 and goes for $799 on sale. It does native 120hz which is only good for gaming. Has a decent response time of 12 Ms based on a reviewer. And has Qled, with good colors etc full array backlighting.

@@Harmansehgal5 you must not game. I don't think the u6h does native 120hz. If your looking for 60hz 4k I've seen 65 inches and I think even 70" as low as $400 and 50-55 for $300 or so and 43-49" for 230-270 or so. The man thing you really want is full array backlighting if possible but those are more expensive. With the right calibrating most will be good. Maybe check the nits for brightness and look for one that has dolby vision etc. Anyways good luck.

@@Harmansehgal5 btw I have a 2017 Samsung 55" model I really like, but I have been looking at that Hisense. Also the Vizio OLED looks amazing if you had t seen it in store for like $1100 but that's pretty expensive but man the picture is crazy on it compared to the $2000 plus TV's.

Curve is better for fps for people that like it and maybe some adventure games. Most games are probably better on flat though. Movies and web browsing on flat. It's a personal choice really.

I agree. But it if you sit close enough in store they still look kinda nice. It's not a strong curve. I think some will over look this for the 240hz but yeah they g7 is much more appealing.

You sound like this guy in a discord. Some would argue anything 240hz or bust, many would argue response time is even more important. Either way you said 120hz which makes me think you went with a tv, which is probably nice, but the response times can't compete with the quality monitors from Asus aorus predator MSI etc.
