Amazing builds. Is the Conquest Reforged a whole mod pack with the different resources to build medieval type structures?
I live in a different country than my 5 and 7 year old sons and I have bought minecraft for both of our PS4s plus I have purchased the Bedrock edition for the pc. I have been building a medieval world for them to explore and play in but even with the numerous mods i have purchased none of them give me that look and feel of the era. Timbers being too big and bulky for smaller village homes and many of the typical building designs being unachievable without custom style blocks and such.

Hey there! First off, thank you so much for the appreciation! Secondly, you do sound like a cool dad, wish mine bought Minecraft as a kid but no haha... did you buy just the bedrock edition of Minecraft or the Windows version? I'm saying this cause the Windows version contains both bedrock and Java. I'm using the Java version of Minecraft as all around is more suitable for modding etc. Conquest Reforged is indeed a modpack that includes both the resource pack containing all the various exclusive blocks as well as other quality of life mods/resource packs such as sodium, texture connectivity, etc. On top of that, I'm using a custom launcher to better edit my profiles and add or remove mods as I please, but I'm sure the Conquest Reforged webiste explains how to do install it using the regular launcher. With that being said, I think not too long ago a Bedrock edition of the modpack has been released so you should be good to go regardless. Thanks again and hope you stick by for future videos!

@@BlockandSiege I have the Java and Bedrock edition. I got it so we can play on PC to PC or so I could host and they could the Playstation and my oldest daughter (20) could also join on her C Box.

Hello again, yeah it's been a while (same here, but i've just got kinda 'lazy' with the posting here i guess)
I said on your first video that i put the bell on, but idk, for a while i don't seem to get any notifications at all here.
But like last time i saw this in discord lol, so here i am - nice to see you! I still like your blockplacing 😉It looks great!
Also bc i feel 'alone' with building as always in my sp-world, it's like 'everyone' else as usual is building on servers with others.
I see your list with 2 of our deco mods - do you not have 'Smaugs' - Conquest:Hearthfire - yet?
And ofc you've already got the newest CR update?
And yeah, i always build with shaders on (except when doing 'select' stuff with Axiom). It looks like you don't, but when you do - which one(s)?
For me a very custom Bliss works perfect with both Axiom and Distant Horizons etc, but as the only one, for now.
I'll look forward to see you here again later - take care! 💟

Hello there good to see you again here! If you're talking about not getting any notifications by me that's because I basically didn't post any videos for like 7 months lol. I'm actually working on an explaination video as to why I disappeared for quite some time. Thanks for your kind words and for sticking by despite the hiatus 😊
Building in single player is great for me, especially because I'm working on a worldbuilding project, so I guess that lends itself to it pretty good. I don't shun the possibility of collaborating with other creators in the future though... probably just a sporadic thing though.
As for the mods I'm using, I definitely didn't use the new Hearthfire deco mod for this video, but I did use it offscreen in other builds. I even went back and changed a few things in this build as well after I installed it. And yessss, I updated to the newest CR version just recently, the new blocks look amazing!
I basically use shaders just to take short clips or to take screenshots because I'm currently working from my laptop haha. Using shaders puts quite the strain on the poor guy, let alone additionally recording my screen with OBS. I chose a smoother framerate for my videos over cool graphics, I guess. Regardless, when I do use shaders, I generally go for BSL, Continuum v2 (which I reaaly like) and lately I've been vibing with Potato Shaders which, despite the goofy name, is super cool and has little to no impact frame rate wise. I've seen most shaders crash while using Axiom so I didn't bother, but I'll try my hand with Bliss thanks to your advice ^^
Stay tuned, for a new video is on the horizon hehe. Again thanks for chatting and stopping by ;)
