American Masters should logically produce a documentary on the life and career of Frank Sinatra as a follow up to the excellent Bing Crosby Rediscovered special shown this week on PBS. However, I believe that HBO has commissioned a four hour Sinatra documentary to be shown next year. There is also the long gestating Martin Scorsese Sinatra biographical film produced by Scott Rudin, which has gone through script revisions.
