I'll say it because most of us are thinking it. You have created a new world of music, almost escapism into a place between the day and night. Your music takes you on a journey into another dimension, one that more of us would like to know. Excellent work.
I think i have found all but 1 track :) Can't, for the life of me, find the "Wilt" track, but if you like that one, trust me you'll love anything by Wilt, as it's all very much alike. Pure audio horror. Don't get him confused with an easy listening rock band of the same name though haha :) I HIGHLY recommend youtubing "Wilt - Bloodletting" for something particularly terrifying! Tracks SHOULD be: ( times are approximate ) 0:00 / Deaf Center - The Day I Would Never Have (Album - Owl Splinters) 9:29 / SubtractiveLad - No Man`s land (Album - No Man`s land) 17:50 / Birds of Passage - Pray For A Sunny Day (Album - Without the World) 22:00 / Hammock - Longest Year (Album - EP's, Singles and Remixes) 30:05 / Magwheels - Discreet Charm (Album - Evebuildingbomb) 31:35 / Brian McBride - Mélodrames Télégraphiés (in B major 7th) Part 1 & Part 2 (Album - The Effective Disconnect) Piece starts at approx 6 minutes. 35:26 / Roly Porter - Arrakis (Album - Aftertime) 38:50 / _Type (Brad Rose) - Save Yourselves (Album - The North Sea - Bloodlines) Thanks to Jordan Martin! 47:55 / Tobias Lilja - Traffic (Album - Ex-leper) 50:05 / Bad Sector - Rsaa (Album - Ampos) 53:10 / Wilt - Visions of quicksilver on lightness velvet (Album - Audiophob label compilation from 2004) Thanks SImplexia! 55:05 / Loscil - Goat Mountain (Album - Coast/ Range/ Arc) 1:02:30 / Dahlia's Tear - 6 5 4...3...Control...Uncontrolled (Album - My Rotten Spirit of Black) 1:06:50 / Gjöll - Part Five (Album - Way Through Zero) 1:16:05 / Numina - Light Travelling (Album - Shift of the Ghost) 1:22:10 / Subterranean Source - Spiritual Darkness (maybe) (Album - Vivid Circles). Note: hard to discern, as only could listen to samples online. 1:26:30 / Hecq - I Am You (Album - Nightfalls) 1:31:45 / Noise/Girl - Before the Carnival (Album - Discopathology) Thanks to Calaveras84! So, I found most of it. If anyone can correct me on any mistakes I made or can find the name of that particular 'Wilt' track, then that'd be awesome! All these albums can be bought online still, as far as I can see. Having listened to lots of tracks and samples, looking for the above, I think i'm going to have to buy them all, because there's even more awesome stuff out there :)
woow! DirtyBoySingToGod, you're my hero!! "Wilt" song comes from the "Audiophob" label compilation (2004). "Visions of quicksilver on lightness velvet" is the name. Thanks so much for your work and sorry again for not giving the full tracklist!
simplexia haha please do not apologise ! You uploaded all these into the perfect mix. I have nothing but thanks for you, for doing that. My favourite piece(s) of music on all youtube :D Also, Another thanks for finding the name of the Wilt track. Very difficult for me to find that one, as a lot of other Wilt tracks are very similar ( in a good way of course ). Have a great weekend !
Amazing job!! :-) You only forgot the last track at 1:31:45. Its "Noise Girl - Before the carnival" from the album "Discopathology" . One of my favourites!!!
Calaveras84 ah thank you for posting this correction ! To be honest, i was ignorant to it being an actual track....i thought it was the ending of the previous song haha! Thank you for clearing that up !
I don't know too much of their stuff unfortunately, but i do have the album "Pale Ravine" by them :) It's incredible. Tracks like "Lobby" & "The Clearing" are my favourites :) Takes me right back to Twin Peaks :D
I am a huge fan of Wordclock, Flowers for Bodysnatchers, Atrium Carceri and the like, but this...this is by far the most moving and emotionally diverse dark ambient album I have ever heard. You, Simplexia, are insanely inspirational.
haha, still coming back to this more than a year later :) i'm happy in my world, for the most part, but this mix still holds a great power over me and helps creativity. This is more than melancholy, it's downright miserable in places, but it takes me to places that i love to be in ! Thanks again for putting this together for everyone to experience. There are some MASTER musicians out there that can create worlds and dreams in just one or two notes and that is something to be in awe of :)
Hey simplexia :) I imagine you're no doubt sick and tired of this question by now, but I was wondering if you've collated a playlist for these songs yet ? I'd just love to buy all the albums with each of these tracks on ! Thanks again for the best sounds on youtube !
Hi, thanks for your comment. Sorry for not give a tracklist, I can not remember the tracks, so that means that I have to check one by one all cds and all the vinyls to find exact songs and names, mixes, write them, etc... I should do the same work for ALL my (40) sessions! :)
Hey I figured it out...some what.....The names of the group comes across on a banner as the songs are playing... THen you go and listen to their stuff and find what you are looking for....Simplexia did Great~
many thanks for posting all these dark ambient songs. could you recomend a dark ambient artist for me? Im looking for works without lyrics to them (unless its like a chant, or latin chorus or something similar).Im also looking for that dark/organic feel to it, such as "Dante's anthropomorphic zoo". Any suggestions are highly appreciated. many thanks
I am not the maker of the video, but unless you already heard the following - check out Desiderii Marginis, or Necrophorus or Raison D'Etre. Check out "In Brightness" Desiderii Marginis video.
Whenever i hear good underground tunes on youtube, im always afraid to just favorite them, because many of the ones ive favorites in the past were taken off youtube and i never know how to find them again..
Well, thanks for the amazing compilation. The full tracklist is definitely required. At least you don't have it, can you tell me the title of Hecq's track at the end?

Sensuous, tragic music, the stuff of aching nightmares and sad recollections.
I'll say it because most of us are thinking it. You have created a new world of music, almost escapism into a place between the day and night. Your music takes you on a journey into another dimension, one that more of us would like to know. Excellent work.
