My tier list: KBAI and ML4T: S-tier. That was exactly what I was expecting for a masters course AI For Robotics: A-tier. Very solid, but needs to finetune the exams. Intro to Grad Alg: B-tier. Grading is heavily weighted on the exams (69% when I took it), but you could potentially finish the class early. There’s a trick to studying for it and once you figure that out, you’ll have a much easier time with this. For the most part, study the homework and similar problems to them, and watch the office hours. Deep Learning: B-tier. Quizzes suck and later lectures taught by Meta are bad. But there’s a lot of good and useful content in here. No exams, but a group project you choose and it was really fun. Video Game Design: B-tier. Awful lectures but made up for it with cool projects, learning Unity, and an awesome group project. Easy to pass. Game AI: C-tier. Awful lectures and no cool projects or HWs to save it this time. Still pretty easy though. AI Ethics: F-tier. This class is easy, but boring and tedious. Gets an F for how useless it is. There’s nothing to learn or be gained here. I wouldn’t even recommend as a breather course because of how boring and useless it is. ML: F-tier. Glory to the curve. Lectures aside, Isbell’s personality and grading made my experience with ML horrendous. He’s gone now and they’ve made slight improvements to the midterm, but man, he left his mark on quite a few of us.
Hey Coolster, When did you take SDP? How was A6 and grading in general? Omscentral reviews are concerning. I have it this summer as class #8 in the II spec.

Thanks for this you talked me out of ML and GA
Solid takes.

I took SDP Fall 2023 (my last semester)
A6 was a bit tricky in grading but overall, it doesn't contribute much to your grade
What was the order that you took the classes, if you don't mind sharing?
That is a great question! I am about to make a video outline that so stay tuned!
