I recall an article mentioning the writers of the song (two men) were recounting a story of a woman conceiving her 1st child and becoming overcome with the joy at the thought of bringing a new life into the world. As a result, she gained a greater sense of meaning for her life. When you listen the lyrics it makes sense. I understand times change (as they should) however I struggle hearing this song (as I remember enjoying it) juxtaposed against the Pose visuals. I am aware of the 'ballroom scene' and the storyline for the episode but this seems way over-the-top mainstream television.
