Hey Cool Dude .. Loving these videos Marek .. Our Green and Pleasant Land Everywhere .. So interesting too .. Will walk this one day .. Marek Thank You for the Smile on me Dial .

Hula Hoops are the best but only plain ones Thanks for the giggles Of course the queue didnt wave, This is Lymington, we hate everyone 🤣🤣 Best films and music 1965-1980
Holding the sailors hand... in public 🤣🤣🤣 Jus another reason we love ya Marek! Id defo pay to go bounce about on those cloud in your video, they looked like they had the perfect amount of bounciness.☁️🤗 The worst snacks I ever ever encountered were some “sweets” my friend brought back from Japan, as a joke I think but I wasn’t laughing too much when I opened one thinking I was gonna have a nice tasty sweet and it turned out to be some horrible stinkin fish thing disguised as candy. 🍬🎣 Just cruel imo. And a bit mental. Who invents that!? I’d take hula hoops any day over that nastiness 🤢
Hi Marek. 👍😃 Great video again. Lymington is a beautiful little place, & well worth a visit. We visited there once years ago on the way to the Beaulieu Motor Museum. The problem with Films & music is that they're very subjective, & opinions will always vary. I agree with you that there were some great iconic films in the 80's. My personal snack dislike was a chocolate wafer bar called a "TAXI". Probably not around anymore, but my Mother would put one in my school lunch box in the 70's & 80's. (Never occured to me to tell her I wasn't keen on them). They were extremely dry. Like eating sawdust, with little or no taste. However, I'm sure some people liked them. 😃👍 Some great laugh out loud moments in that episode. Great fun. Has cheered up my Sunday night. 👍😃
Nearly spat out my sandwich at the word fossils 😂 looks like a lovely walk, and one I could easily do with my dodgy knee! Worst snack for me would be jaffa cakes, followed closely by Mr Kipling battenburg slices- they look like they'd taste amazing and therefore are doubly disappointing to eat. Best time for me for films (in addition to 87') would be 1996 to 2001, gave us Fifth Element, Twister, all the tween films I loved starring Heath Ledger may he RIP, Hercules the best Disney film, right up to LoTRs and Harry P starting.
This was a relaxing watch after a tough start to the week for me. Waving at the queue made me laugh, and even brought back memories of how you used to greet the builders each morning in your London vlogs from 7 years ago! Given the price of other areal activities (sky diving, bungee jumping, wing walking etc.) I guess I would pay at least £150-200 for the cloud jumping. Required wealth to wear salmon trousers: well north of a million... I'm thinking 5 million plus to be a fully signed up member of the club
There was a period in the 00s with a brilliant resurgence of indie/clever horror, like The Witch, It Follows, Babadook, Hereditary etc. The first film I saw when the cinemas reopened was In The Earth, trippy and brilliant folk horror
I still have nightmares about Hereditary and Midsommer. I have really been enjoying your sketchbook shots on instragram, your three material challenge stuff is inspiring. I must find some urban sketch groups when I am next in London for a longer period.
You're totally right about that stretch of time in the 80's that produced those amazing movies. My personal favorite movie year(s) is(are) 2006-2007. There Will Be Blood, No Country for Old Men, Zodiac, The Assassination of Jesse James, and The Prestige in 2006. Some of my favorite films!
Stunning walk and stunning clouds throughout! Another top tip for flat walks is to walk along canals - thats my sneaky trick - did the whole way from Toulouse to Beziers along a canal years ago! Stay cool
Worst crisp snacks are anything Smokey bacon (they just repeat on me endlessly) or cheese and onion (yuk) flavoured. Thanks for using my Marek pic from St Catherine’s Hill, Winchester taken last Saturday - sorry I didn’t get the cathedral in too. Stay cool
Great walk, nice ferry ride, paintings and humour :) favorite time for movies growing up was mid 80s, movies like Back to the Future, the breakfast club, Together in Electric dreams and Stand by me.
Wow, what a beautiful walk! A dream of mine looks just like it. Great weather. When did you do the walk? And a jumping theme park on clouds?? Make it happen, Marek!
I do find hula hoops bland but they are fun to eat. My least fave snack is party ring biscuits - everything about them makes me sad. When you held that sailer's hand it reminded me of when me and my sister went to Tamworth castle years ago. She touched a monk and set an alarm off. Haha! My fave period for films is the same as yours and my fave period for music is the 90s(dance and indie) I think that bouncing around on a cloud would be nice-kind of like a magical soft play area but without the risk of stepping in kid's poo/wee/sick. I'd pay around £15 for the experience. I think that a lighthouse or windmill emoji would be cool. Stay cool.
Just a side note: the quality of this vid looks fantastic on my 4K 55” telly. 😊 Agree on the movies period you mentioned too Marek. Robocop is my favourite film of all time. They are finally releasing a documentary on the 3 films and TV series in a few months after about 7 year’s wait!
Lovely to see a walk I've done many times as a teenager. I think I will have to get the train up and do it again and get a cup of tea at my Nan's who is one of the 36% of the retired people in Barton.
On cloud theme parks, this reminds me of Monkey Magic, where the hero Monkey and his henchman Piggsy are saving the world from evil. He used to ride around on clouds and this was pretty cool.
Think i am with you on the Hulu hoops. Along with Skips (prawn cocktail flavor if memory serves) As for movies, 40's Noir is a big fav of mine. Along with the 80s, 90s for independent movies.
That thing on the jumper is a Lucky Fred! Actually, it's just a loose bit of thread but my mum called it a "Lucky Fred" and whoever pulled it off the garment would have some extra luck, but it doesn't work for the owner of the garment. My mother didn't really say "Fred", but to my young ears it sounded as such and I thought it was magical so would scan people's clothes, trying to get lucky! 😆
My Grandad worked on Hurst Castle during the war, putting in reinforced windows, etc. He was cycling home from work one day when a lone Messerschmitt, on his way back to France, decided to empty its machine guns down the road & Grandad had to leap off his bike & dive for cover

Rewatched as I’m about to walk from Lymington to Keyhurst. I wish I had time to go on to the castle just so I could hold hands with the wax man, but perhaps another day. I was wondering whether the unknown white thing on your jumper was a forgotten and sun-bleached strawberry lace? 🤔
Have a good walk cool dude. I have had to cut back on Strawberry laces after they went up from 3 for £1 to 70p each. I hope someone will hold the wax man's hand soon.

The definitely worst snack I have had in the UK is Bacon Scraps. Jeezzz, hard crusts of pigskin smeared with some sickening greasy substance... We were too late for dinner at the pub we stayed in a small village, and bags of Bacon Scraps was the only option. Which we wolfed down with a substancial amount of wine 🤣🤣🤣
Pretzels, pork rinds, chocolate covered raisins, yoghurt covered raisins, cheezies, twizzlers.... I can be picky. 💀Holding the sailor's hand. I hope the other person in the room didn't spoil your moment together.
I can’t think of British military culture without thinking about Monty Python’s Meaning of Life. The Sgt Major yelling but then being overly permissive.
My favourite period for movies was when they made a bit of an effort rather than reheated sequels, prequels and live-action remakes. But tbf I'm an old git now so 🤷♂️
Rumour has it that Nordic walking was invented by a guy who went skiing but forgot to put his skis on 🤷🏻♀️ It was so sad to see that nobody in the queue waved back, but it’s important to remember to think positively - nobody flipped the bird either.
For once i have to disagree with you Marek, ready salted hula hoops are my favourite savoury snack. I have a friend who always brings Fridge Raiders as snacks and they absolutely stink, can only assume that they are made from minced up chicken's earholes, eyeholes and a*seholes. A cloud theme park sounds good fun but I'd probably just find a comfy nimbus and curl up for a snooze. Is the IOW ferry expensive if you are a foot passenger? Cheers dude.
The ferry is about £20 for a passenger day return so still way too expensive. You can convert Tesco club card vouchers into tickets on the Wightlink site and you get double the value.
The worst snack for me is getting a bad burger in the chosen pub for the walk, followed by running out of dog biscuits for me little mate. He starts to refuse to sit at road junctions etc. when he knows the treats have run dry 🙄
I had a Mars bar the other week when my local shop had no Snickers. I enjoyed it. I also like Barbecue crisps. I might start looking through your bins.
Thought you'd got a drone at the beginning but you were just standing on the ferry. Ever pondered a drone? Worst snacks? Salt n vinegar Chipsticks and Turkish Delight, grim.
I am sort of against drones as you never see a walk from that point of view. A lot of walking videos have drone footage but I think it is a bit misleading as to what it is really like to go on a walk.
I know it's rude but I would have liked you to give the finger to the queue who didn't wave back. Golden period for music for me was 1995 to 1998, not that it was worse before or after but because I'd got back into guitar music around 94 and worked 2 minutes from hmv where I spent most of my dinner breaks.
oh no, what a luncheon fiasco with the Hula Hoops. How could this happen? How could a person who has won Celebrity Pointless make such a mistake? The answer is they could not so this must have been sabotage. Anyway, Liquorice Allsorts suk ass so that would be my worst nightmare. Cool walk CD#1
Skips, wotsits and twiglets are the work of the devil 🤮 as for the music era it’s got to be Britpop of the mid to late 90’s my teenage years also loved the dance music even now ‘insomnia’ takes me straight back to being in a nightclub and the sticky carpets 😂
Hello. I'm fairly certain you are a super villain, but I enjoy your walks and became a TH-cam member. Hopefully my membership is enough to dissuade you from using pigeons to take over the world. Is a snack a snack if you don't like it?

@@cdwc couldn't resist
Worst snack for me is anything mint flavour. It's like eating toothpaste
I used to like the Pacer sweets.
Wrong
Mint is S tier chocolate
The definitely worst snack I have had in the UK is Bacon Scraps. Jeezzz, hard crusts of pigskin smeared with some sickening greasy substance... We were too late for dinner at the pub we stayed in a small village, and bags of Bacon Scraps was the only option. Which we wolfed down with a substancial amount of wine 🤣🤣🤣
Pork Scratchings! One of the greatest snacks in the world. Some of them even have the hair on them. Ha.
@@cdwc 🤣🤣🤣 I noticed that...
Chipsticks. Just stick to the roof of ya mouth. Controversial but don’t like Bourbon biscuits. Great video, hopefully moving around there soon.
Good luck with the move cool dude. It is a beautiful place.
Coffee and full fat coke ..always a rock star
I'm afraid I have to disagree with you about Hula Hoops, the salt and vinegar ones are one of my favourites!
It looks like we have become crisp enemies cool dude.
@@cdwc Oh no! And just as I joined as a TH-cam member too!
Can't believe Marek talked about 80s movies and Flight of Dragons didn't get a shout out!
Only about three people have ever heard of it cool dude.
@@cdwc Aye but those of us who do remember it, remember it very fondly.
My favourite period for movies was when they made a bit of an effort rather than reheated sequels, prequels and live-action remakes. But tbf I'm an old git now so 🤷♂️
I hate Superhero films, and fight sequences which are so ridiculous and no-one ever gets hurt. I dislike all this Marvel bull***t.
Hula Hoops are my best crisps especially the giant ones!
I hate Wotsits and Wagon Wheels 🫤
I hate Wagon Wheels too. Gross. I like the new puffy hula hoops, especially the barbecue flavour.
We are travelling from lymington to IOW in September so thankyou for showing me what a nice place it is.
The ferry ride is excellent.
meh.. lived here since 1965.. its not so great
Rumour has it that Nordic walking was invented by a guy who went skiing but forgot to put his skis on 🤷🏻♀️
It was so sad to see that nobody in the queue waved back, but it’s important to remember to think positively - nobody flipped the bird either.
I think the people in the queue where annoyed they had to wait another 15 minutes for the next boat.
You can convert Tesco club card vouchers into tickets on the Wightlink site and you get double the value.
ready salted hula hoops are my favourite savoury snack too. especially with a fresh radish for some inexplicable reason
Worst snack..... Twiglets . Those things are made of who knows what and smeared with ####. Good for lighting barbecues though. 😮
🙂😎👊👍👏👋
As I've gotten older I have acquired a taste for twiglets.
@@cdwc aghhh so you're the one that buys them. 😆 I knew somebody must. Perhaps we all lose our taste then as we get older ?? 🤔
Is the music at the beginning from Minecraft? Thanks for the video cool dude
The first song is Gymnopedie No.1 by Satie. An all time classic.
The worst snack for me is getting a bad burger in the chosen pub for the walk, followed by running out of dog biscuits for me little mate. He starts to refuse to sit at road junctions etc. when he knows the treats have run dry 🙄
There is nothing worse than getting a rubbish frozen cheap burger for your mid walk snack, especially when they charge about £15!
Great walk cool dude. Nice technique!
Thanks cool dude. I will start teaching Nordic walking soon too. Ha.
Mars bars and barbecue flavour crisps can get in the bin
I had a Mars bar the other week when my local shop had no Snickers. I enjoyed it. I also like Barbecue crisps. I might start looking through your bins.
@@cdwc 😄
Music 78-84 most of the acts who started then are still the biggest acts in the world like U2, Depeche Mode, Kajagoogoo
Beef and mustard hula hoops are my fave, worst are those pompom bear things
I am a fan of Pombears. They are 70% air.
You'll never guess, my last name's Barton
You need to marry someone called On-Sea
Thought you'd got a drone at the beginning but you were just standing on the ferry. Ever pondered a drone?
Worst snacks? Salt n vinegar Chipsticks and Turkish Delight, grim.
I am sort of against drones as you never see a walk from that point of view. A lot of walking videos have drone footage but I think it is a bit misleading as to what it is really like to go on a walk.
@@cdwc very true, plus faffing about with one would take the fun out of the deal
I don't think I have any knowledge of music after 2000.
@@cdwc there's plenty of good stuff out there if you look.
Wassat? Vermillion Blue?
Least favourite... Revels, Boost, Topic... Also Worcester sauce crisps. Faves... Clif bars, Treks, Giant flamin hot wotsits person lol
Nice 1
ever thought about doing a cycle special so you could visit even more places in the same time?
I think I would need to get a decent bike first. Ha.
@@cdwc I can help ya out with that I work for a bike company can always get ya a nice discount 😉
Now you're taking to "Nordic" style the next emoji has to be trekking poles
I will probably relapse into doing it incorrectly.
1990 to 1995 for music and as for film 1998 to 2003
oh no, what a luncheon fiasco with the Hula Hoops. How could this happen? How could a person who has won Celebrity Pointless make such a mistake? The answer is they could not so this must have been sabotage. Anyway, Liquorice Allsorts suk ass so that would be my worst nightmare. Cool walk CD#1
I am bringing Liquorice Allsorts round next time.
I am not in league with the pigeons. I hate them. I am the only one trying to save us from them!
I hate pigeons too but actually love salt & vinegar hula hoops. No such thing as a snack I don't like.
I'll put that pack of smashed up Hula Hoops in the post to you.
@@cdwc 🤣🤣😂
My least favourite chips are anything prawn 🦐
Sesame prawn toast in Chinese is one of my favourites.
Salt and vinegar anything if I meant to pick up plain.
I am still angry with Walkers for making their Salt n Vinegar green after I was brought up with the Golden Wonder blue for vinegar.
@@cdwc I know right. Before I was vegan I used to love Cheese and onion crisps.
Once fleet services I grabbed two bags of what I thought were cheese and onion but didn’t find out until I was back on the m3 I was starving.
Disco crisps always make me actually vomit, and I've no idea why. No other crisp affects me this way
I have the same reaction to Cadburys Wispa bars. I had one when I was young and was sick and since then loathe them along with most brands of Cadbury’s chocolate.
