This collection is stunning. Just like you, I wasn’t super excited by their summer drops but this ???? Oh My God, everything looks so nice and cozy and soft and rich. Sézane knows very well how to do fall and I am so ready for it (my wallet isn’t tho).
You always do such an informative presentation--thx Mila. Like you I love Fall clothes, but not wild about this collection. Love greens & true burgundy (theirs looks too brown to me) but the golds/oranges I'd never wear. Betting you'll buy the cape!!
Great reaction to the lookbook. I can't wait for your review of the fall pieces. If you order the Amiel, you might want to go up a size because they mention on the site that they reduced the volume. I ordered the orange one in xxs and xs this year and compared to the xxs from last year, the xxs was smaller and the xs larger but a bit shorter 😅
Thank you so much for this video, dear Mila! It’s always so great having your help when picking items from Sezane. I just discovered the brand less than a year ago and have updated my wardrobe with it because I really like lots of the more basic pieces. I have one question: do you still recommend the Axelle boots? In this video you said that you don’t like patent leather that much. Do they hold up alright?
I am planning to get the Carlo jacket. The color is perfection. I really like the Leonora cardigan too but will wait for other colors. Love your videos 💛
Mila, thank you so much! Your video is tge perfect trailer snd inspiration for the upcoming drop! I want so many pieces and now it's feeling even harder to make decisions... I think I will unite my AMBRE blouse with this beautiful skirt and I'd like to buy a dozen new knits. 😅❤❤❤❤
I just bought the Louis in burgundy, Betty in perfect green, and I love them both ! I just received the Jady cardigan in the perfect green too, I’m unsure if I will keep as it is so low cut.
Capes are awesome! I have a couple tweed capes, and I get so many compliments because they're a bit different and unexpected. They wear very well and always fit 😊I think Sezane said on instagram that it is not reversible.
Its still summer here in Spain! Wearing dresses and sandals. But Im so in love with the new Sezane lookbook! The rosewood coat is the first thing caught my attention, I will give it a try (I hope is not out of stock soon, because I think Im not ready to buy autumn clothes yet since Im still going to the beach...). Also in my wishlist: the green set, Amiel jumper and Harper dress in moca color. I think I liked pretty much the same you did! ❤
@@eyewristchin aww thank you!! I missed being here with you guys too. I was in Brazil for the month, so it was tough to film and edit videos. I only got the Brielle cardigan and this week I ordered a few pieces, waiting for them to arrive (Jady cardigan in Yak wool, Tania & Laure skirts, Ambre , Abele and a few others I couldn’t say no to 🙈😜). Didn’t get anything from Petit Sézane, but I suddenly feel the urge to have a child 🤣
The collection looks stunning. I tried the yellow cardigan set you’re wearing but sent it Back because the color but happy to see it in green and will most likely purchase. I loved the green pencil skirt Nolane but the slit up the front is very weakly reinforced and I feared it would rip with the slightest bit of tension so I returned it. Always love your previews and can’t wait to see what you buy.
I really loved the merino pieces that came out lately (Brielle, Betty in vanilla, Auguste in cookie) and find their yack-wool to be super itchy. 😢 So we will see what material the Amielle and other jumpers are made of. Some coats look great, but just out of interest: is it a common practice to own several coats? 😅 I have one wool coat and one down jacket and that has been well enough. 😅
@@isabelw.5666 these are lovely indeed!! Ohh I’m so curious to try their Yak wool - I got the Jady cardigan, waiting for it to arrive. Sorry to hear it’s itchy, what a shame :( Amielle is plush and very soft, but if you’re super sensitive to wool, you’ll feel it. I feel around my neck, but not as bad as Gaspard /Basile and other super scratchy knits! As for the coats, I think it’s common to have a few, but it really depends on your weather and also your enthusiasm to get dressed 🤣 I didn’t own a coat until I turned 24 (lived in Brazil until then). After that, I got really into knits and coats and have a lot of fun styling them! I have only one down jacket as this is purely functional, wool coats I have so many and love and wear them all a lot 🙃💕
The cape is gorgeous. I also like the vest and pants with it. The problem with the jumper is the seam down the front. The Will jacket in the print is cute. You know, many of the pants are very long. I wonder if you could take it to a tailor and have them cuffed. These pieces are lovely.
Hi! I saw you reviewed Ecru Lyna jumper in an older video. I just got it and find it a bit see through! What do you recommend to wear underneath it ? (Especially for work, I’m worried the nude bra is visible). Thanks !
Hi Mila, I love your videos and sweetness. I wonder if I am an isolated case or if it happens to you or others sometimes, to receive from Sezane almost every time items with defects. I bought the Fiona three months ago and only the third one was ok. Recently I bought the Christie jacket and the first and second had spots or other. I stopped then, too frustrating. Now I put an eye on the Jack jacket and I don’t know if try again… maybe I am unlucky.. can’t understand. Thanks for your attention 😘
@@gemmina69 I’m sorry you’ve had such a negative experience with your latest orders 😩 that does sound frustrating!! Honestly I’ve been hearing this more often, so I’m sure you’re not alone - unfortunately. I have been purchasing from them for about 5 years now, I’d be lying if I said I never had an order swapped or a piece that didn’t look right. It was very minimal in my case though, really just a few times in over hundreds of pieces I’ve purchased (I order for our videos as well, not always to keep them). Their customer service has always been great and fixed the issues right away, which is good, but I hope they work on that so we don’t even need to ask for support. A brand such as Sezane, with a beautiful history, shouldn’t really go down the hill due to quality issues.
@@milainnewyork Thank you dear for your kind answer. I see , it happens unfortunately. I am so in love with the Christie in camel; the first was perfect but when I cut away the stitches in the back, 4 holes came out. The customer service was really kind and sent me another one. But this had a dark small spot in the front. I sent a photo via mail but didn’t have any reply. So I sent it back just yesterday. Maybe I’ll try again as soon as the refund arrives. So, thank you again Mila, you are really fantastic- like your city. Baci Gemma 😘
Hi! Unfortunately I just had this happen as well. I received a pair of Paula Babies just yesterday that are oddly discolored, almost like the dye got mixed up. Otherwise everything is of lovely quality. Sad to know those pieces may go to waste though!
I tried that cape last year when they had it in olive green and it was MASSIVE. As usual, not for petites. Even in the smallest size (I'm 5' 1") it looked ridiculous. Only for women who are taller, like over 5' 7"!!

summer in New York is short?!!! from my 30 something years living in new york, summer temperature literally starts end of may and goes into september, Fall lasts two weeks!!!!
@@JC-zy5gg yes waaay too short!! Depends on what you consider warm though lol I come from Brazil where summer is all year round 😜 in my city you go to the beach in December and in June. We have more colder days in New York than sunny and warm days for sure, not just me who is saying 🤣
Luckily for me, most of the drop is not appealing to me (too many warm tones and trendy pieces)... I do love the Harper Dress (but I already have it in the Burgundy with gold buttons version from last year), the Honey Shirt (but I already have it in the previous version) and the Abelia Blouse in purple (hopefully I'll get my hands on it before it's sold out).
Same! this drop is just too warm toned for me. I own the Harper dress in black, I considered the harper in navy blue, but I already own the sami jumper, naelle skirt and the Meryl dress in Navy. I would love to get the olive toned Michele jacket if Sezane restocks it.
Sezane have lost their way.. I used to stalk their website for the new drops but now that they‘re dropping new pieces every second week and do SO MUCH influencer/ celebrity gifting, they have lost their appeal to me. Also the quality gets worse (a lot of Polyester) while the prices go up. This fall I got a fourth pair of Damiano trousers (in grey) because they‘re my favourite apart from Gaspard, other than that I‘m gonna pass. Absolutely not my colours and not my shapes.
Because I have large breast, I don’t like anything like a turtleneck. But I will wait to see if they get the Léandre Dress in that deep burgundy color.
