I remember watching this live on tv. After this performance, the competition was over - it was so obvious that Lee was going to win. That's why when it cut to the other contestants clapping, they all had such straight faces. As talented as they were, there was no way they were going to beat him.
I remember watching this. An actor who could sing very well. I’m sure this performance handed him the role, although the public vote could have scuppered it. That was certainly the case with Jess Buckley, who was favourite for the part of Nancy in Oliver! But the TV audience went for Jodie Prenger. Jess then went to drama school and is now an amazing A-list actor.
No offence taken hun!Lewis vocals pretty good and his whole attitude in the final excellent i must say,bet his mum was proud but his inexperience shone thru in my opinion.I never rated Ben tho as i couldn't be comfortable watching him never knowing when he'd go off key.The day of those particular comments i had had just about enough of silly little girls having a go at me over my support of Mr Mead!!
I have just been proved right about the voting age of Barbie Boy's fan base as some prepubescent girl has just asked me via e-mail to explain 'effeminate' and 'charisma'??!I rest my case but that probably means i need to adjust the average age from 11 to 9!!Go the Meadster!!!
When are they gonna shut up about Lee being a professional?Honestly it's not as if any of the others haven't been to stage school or the like,bum note Ben and Barbie Boy are sooo affected it's just not true!!
