In the late 90s, dual duros were all the rage. Spitfire, Autobahn, and Ricta were cranking them out. Back then it was soft on the outside and hard inside. Basically like a cored wheel(us old dudes still remember the aluminum hubbed Schmitt Stix SS Radials). Interested in trying these hard outside, softer inside versions.
Definitely a shape from early 80's, maybe'85? Reminds me of being a lil kid learning to skate and was such a great time for the industry. Wondering if those OJ's will ride smoother than the new Dragon's? Everyone won't stop raving about them and although I skate OJ Plain Jane's I even bought 3 pairs of them for myself for whenever. When skated in my 20's I only skated Ricta wheels with Bones Swiss Ceramics but now use Bronson's as well. This past year I picked up a board again for first time since my 20's and I'll be 43 in January.

Early decks when we in uk started were 10 ply heavy decks my first was roscop eye with crossbones wheels peralta rails indi trucks Then Steve steadham deck then Rocco 3 which was the the first deck that had a usable nose and I liked my wheels quite soft and doing death slides made them smaller after a while bullets then t bones still got the Rocco it's like a tank , we just used to make jump ramps cos in uk kateparks were non existent
My fat 43 year old azz got me floating on the purgatory with 87 Oj’s .. learning how to fall again. and again. Learning how to Ollie again too. Thanks for the insights about the technicalities of this plank.
