So finally managed to get a lowrider. And this is exactly what I was up to over the weekend. The seat padding is terrible on mine took it for a test ride and could feel it on one side really bad. Gonna be a long project think I'm gonna make a electric trike conversion. Brilliant content thanks for sharing.
Mobo Cross was also know as the Cross70. made in Italy with 3 speed derailier with Huret 123. Orange with with white Banana seat and seperate adjustable back which had 3 red strips running through it, also came in Blue and Dark burgandy. There was a video on TH-cam called Betcher! (1971) with a young Kieth Chegwin. Cycling proficinecy video featuring the bike but the video has gone missing. I have some photo's of the bike in original condition. I've been trying to track one down for years and the nearest i got was from someone selling in Italy but he wanted me to pay directly into his bank and not paypal - Yeah right.. The search goes on..
Yeah, only one I've ever seen. Did manage to find a scrap bike that had the 3 spd shifter on, but when I went to collect, they "couldnt find it" think they'd sold it separately. So never managed to do the Mobo back to original as i would have liked. Good luck with your search though.

I swapped my Chopper mk2 ultra violet for one in 1975 and a big mistake at the time, wish I still had it.
