There are a lot of new cool E-ink tablets entering the market, my only issue is the ridiculous price. It just doesnt make any sense. For the same or less money you can get a flagship tablet like a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 or an ipad which have insanely more functionality, and higher specs. The only thing this offers that those don't is the e-ink display, but i am not sure the display alone is woth 800 - 900 USD. I could be wrong, but I just dont see it. If it cost 300ish USD i could consider it, but anything higher seems ridiculous. Am I missing something?
@@StashiaMass They are complex once you understand what they are actually doing. The bigger E Ink panels are expensive but things like the scribe or nomad aren't very expensive.
@@jordibarguno I got the viwoods mini it comes in November 18. I got it because it was smaller and can do all the same things that the big one can. It was 399 on the website when I pre-order mine.
If it had full Google Store access, that would be my next tech purchase. As it stands now, looking at the Onyx Book line due to the apps on the Google store I need for work.
No. It isn't. There is no place for human creation here. No place for real thinking. It works good for lazy and no self productive people. It sounds like cheating. I ordered the RM Paper pro, instead.
It depends, if you want to replace a notebook then remarkable it really good. But beyond that remarkable is very janky, boox might be better tbh, and I think viwoods can sideload apk so you might be able to get some office based apps (but you wont be able to get microsoft intune etc... on it)
This is a sold yes from me if your looking for the best intergrated AI tablet. 🔥Get them here: techreviewslink.com/VIWOODS
I was looking at this the remarkable, kindle scribe. I went with Vi because you can get kindle books on it with better quality.

You're completely right. E-ink displays cost next to nothing to produce.
Really? I thought the e-ink displays were expensive, and that's why they cost so much.

Thanks for a solid first look review. I've ordered one on Kickstarter, and I'm waiting to see how it will work for me.

It's restricted just like Supernote.
The biggest con is that it doesn't have a back lit.
or a pro
The large bezel should be at top (not at the bottom) replicating what a design of notebook paper. Just my design preference.
