Lower Ocoee has been off this year for us. we're used to always catching a few big ones and mostly all on top water. Berkley Choppo. Yozuri popper. Went a week ago and saw a few big ones but not bitting.
My wife and I are going to the Illinois river in Oklahoma for the first time ever in a river this weekend and your video gives me so much hope that we will get some good catches!
Awesome float. Those fish are beautiful down there.. I have to get down that way and get on them. I went out today in SW Ohio and caught 10 nice rock bass and 4 smallies.. my biggest was 17.75” and 3-4oz. They are starting to eat up here. Check out the new x zone finesse craws on a 1/16oz jig…. Cut the front of the skirt short and the back at a v inwards to the hook. It will blow your mind and probably smash down there.
if you toss some quality glide baits in those slack pockets im sure you’ll pull some bigger ones out there and will be really cool with how much visibility there is

Another great video keep up the good work. I like to go fishing but I hardly every catch any fish I would love to get 4 to 6 3/4 to 1.5 lbs when I go catching a few 1 to 1.5 is a good day in my book.

Look like one side is broken. The other side has a notch built in. Paddles designed for fishing have these for unhooking lures that have gotten stuck on underwater limbs. You can slide it over the line and run it down until it hits the stuck lure and work it out.

As many videos as he makes, you would think @BendingBranchesTV would reach out and fix that for him with a new paddle. 😁
