I’m hurt for him and his family. I also think Tracy was close with her dad and his wife. I believe that rubbed the mom and the sisters wrong. I also believe they didn’t come to the service because her dad may have come with his wife. And Evelyn after all these years can’t let it go. She could have moved on with someone but she didn’t. And not one of her daughters has a marriage, a long standing marriage but Tracy and Kevin Sr. So what does that say? But they want to bash Kevin Sr. It’s clear Kevin Jr is struggling and they are taking advantage of that fact. He is heart broken of his mom’s passing. His health isn’t the best, and they love him so much that he is in a hotel!!! But not staying with his grandma or none of his aunts!! Why is he in a hotel! Gabe owned a tech company. He probably didn’t have Vincent Herbert type of money but had enough to take care of Trina and her two sons that he raised as his.
Im glad that Kevin Sr is doing these sessions. Please keep them coming. The truth is the light. Traci is definitely missed and was my favorite on the BFV show. She grabbed the audiences attention with her down to earth personality. She kept it real with herself and with others. The Braxtons reality show has ran its course. It was obvious to me while watching the show that they felt, Kevin Sr, wasn’t good enough. That’s why they never truly connected with Kevin Jr. That’s why all this new found attention , and concern for him seems phony. I’m so glad Ms. Surratt is speaking her truth.
I thought the exact same thing about their relationship with Kevin Jr.. First when Towanda started calling him “Squeaky” and Trina looked at her all confused and said, “Who is that!??” because she clearly never heard of him being referred to that way (made for TV), then when he had that seizure at the hotel … WHY didn’t she bring him to her house IF she’s so concerned about him?? Why not stay with him at the hotel if she couldn’t bring him home with her, to keep eyes on him?? He just LOST his mother, WHY put him up in a hotel to begin with!!?? Thirdly, when they engaged him in a conversation where they attacked his Father - his last remaining parent, while he’s clearly mourning his mothers death and the end of his marriage, and access to his child. They could’ve supported HIM without tearing down his father IF they cared so much about him. Fourth, KNOWING that Traci never announced her cancer and was so private about it throughout her treatment, WHY would they show her in the final stages of her life when she’s clearly unwell in a manner she would have NEVER shown herself in!!?? What the heck is WRONG with these people!!??

Miss Evelyn carried anger and bitterness in her heart for years for her ex-husband. Ms Braxton showed her bitterness and anger on the show .🥺😫😩🥹 . At that time why why didn't she say. Traci also forgave her husband. Unconditional. Ms Evelyn didn't show forgiveness for her children father because of what came out of her mouth 👄. About their Father. The truth is the truth but you got to talk like you have forgiven him. Tracy had a forgiving heart. But we also saw Tracy very angry at times with her sisters and mother. But we could see that Traci always had a forgiving heart.

I could listen to this lady talk all day. The difference in listening to Ms. Surratt speak and Evelyn is like night and day. One has kindness and wisdom…the other not so much.
Ms. E makes my stomach hurt!!!! She reminds me SO MUCH of my own TOXIC mother!!!!! It was HARD to watch the new show when she was SOOOO arrogant and stupid! It made me wonder why I was watching and I had NO valid reason so I stopped watching, realizing that Traci was really the only reason I supported the show in the first place!!!!
Not to discredit your point, but Ms E, has some wisdom and knowledge. It shows when she has her one on one with her daughters. She has said some very profound things. Now, back to your point, I think those things are overshadowed because you can tell that she does seem to have some misplaced anger and malice that she still hasn't healed from.

Healing and forgiving are two of the hardest things to overcome and master. It's doesn't make it right by any means, but my God, it's a daily battle.
Does anything else need to be said after Mother Surratt has spoken?!? She shut it down in such a classy way. She humanized Traci so beautifully. Mother Surratt said just enough that you know that 1+1=2 and not 3.6. So, I definitely believe her. Kevin, Sr. is a "G"!! They are playing checkers while creating a tarnished family brand & he is playing chess!! What's unfortunate is that Traci experienced rejection twice: not signing her record contract because she was pregnant with Kevin, Jr. and then her family not accepting Kevin, Sr. from the beginning with the exception of Mr. Braxton, Sr. & Michael, Jr. & perhaps Toni since she was signed to LaFace Records by then & relocated to Atlanta. I think they have underestimated Kevin, Sr. Yet, he never comes across as mean and disrespectful towards Ms. E and the Braxton sisters. He simply shares his experiences. The energy is totally different. First Andre, then the Funeral Director, and now Mother Surratt. The receipts are "receipting"!!
Yea Towanda just said on the episode "We didn't leave our sister, we left him!" Meaning they signed the record deal without Traci because they didn't want to deal with her husband. What kind of mess is that? They knew how bad all Traci wanted to do was sing with her sisters. She faught so hard to just be accepted. Then being labeled the "Wannabe" on the first season of BFV was so disrespectful.... Now they wanna protect her legacy and likeness?What about when she was alive? Toni too teasing about her weight.. Traci was all about her community and the love is duly returned. Please to whoever is meant to carry out her wishes, establish her cancer awareness foundation in her name. Her advocacy was everything to her and especially for what regards educating and uplifting the black community. Her legacy deserves to be carried forward.
I am soooooo happy that Traci received unconditional love somewhere. It wasn't from her sisters and mom most definitely. God always has a ram in the bush; we have to seek it. Praying 🙏🏾 for hearts, minds and spirits to be healed for all involved.

I always felt 😌that Tracie was treated funny by her Mom and sisters because Tracie had a relationship with her Dad and his new Wife. We don’t know the Story behind what happened between their parents but we do know, Tracie was around her Dad living in the same state as him and his new Wife.
When this lady is speaking you can hear love, truth, and care! I do not feel that when Miss Evelyn does, since the first episode. Her hear is full of anger. Traci told us herself how her family treated her, we know... I know she's in a better place now ❤️

Those tears I'm sure were real, their motives I don't believe were sincere. They put her on the show publicly in her last days. They disrespected her husband therefore disrespected her. They were married until death. They flipped the story... and made it about them. Disgraceful. He needs to heal the best way possible for him, and if it's hosting his own podcast so be it, the decision is between him and God. This podcast obviously is a part of his healing. God Blessed her with her own family. She spoke dearly of Kevin’s other children. She called them her children and Kevin JR grew up with them. There may have been some jealousy towards Traci because she wasn’t jumping from man to man. She was also close to her dad and his wife and her brother and his family. Traci even had a friendly relationship with Kevin’s older children mother. That’s what love is, it’s not about fame or money.
Of course a mother is going to favor her son, but I do feel she is telling her truth as she saw it. We “the public” will never know the entire story. And honestly we shouldn’t. But I do feel Kevin loved his wife. The marriage had issues, but what marriage doesn’t. Traci grew apart from her sisters and they tried to mend it when she became sick. I can’t say whether that’s right or wrong. But I can say, the way the show portrayed Kevin Sr was not cool. Traci appeared to be a beautiful soul. She was absolutely hilarious to me! Definitely gone too soon.

I hear, feel for your story and remarks on Tracie not having bed sores. My mother was bedridden for years and my brother quit working to care for her. Yes, men aren't appreciated enough!! I was so proud of him remembering when home health aids periodically came they mentioned, was astounded my mother had NO bed sores and her skin was so beautiful!! I can't believe Traci had bed sores with a mother and four sisters who claim they were there with her. There is no way that should have happened. My brother, father, sister, mother and my husband were all at one point bedridden for over a year. My sister was bedridden for ten years and none of them ever had a bedsore. My husband had ALS and I was his caregiver and I would have to get up in the bed to turn him, change, and make sure he was clean. I'm so sorry this happened to Traci. I am crying while listening to this because it hurts to watch these women on TV and realize what Traci went through. Keep your head up Kevin because nobody knows unless they have gone through the loss of a spouse how it feels. There is no hurt like it. God Bless You.🙏

Facts. I believe so many of their children had a preference for Traci as well. It was reported that Logan and Towanda's children in particular were devastated by the loss, and we saw throughout the years how those children gravitated to her in every instance. They ran to her arms and looked at her with love. Just goes to show you can't fake energy and spirit.

I Loved listening to Mrs Surratt sharing her relationship with Tracy. Tracy was Blessed to marry Kevin Sr and be welcomed in to his Beautiful Family. I am glad she shares this. Living with someone when they are grown as a wife and a mother is a total different relationship than living under a roof as a child and a teenager. I sure her relationship was closer than her mom. You could see that see was a daddy girls and she loved her mom too.

I’m hurt for him and his family. I also think Tracy was close with her dad and his wife. I believe that rubbed the mom and the sisters wrong. I also believe they didn’t come to the service because her dad may have come with his wife. And Evelyn after all these years can’t let it go. She could have moved on with someone but she didn’t. And not one of her daughters has a marriage, a long standing marriage but Tracy and Kevin Sr. So what does that say? But they want to bash Kevin Sr. It’s clear Kevin Jr is struggling and they are taking advantage of that fact. He is heart broken of his mom’s passing. His health isn’t the best, and they love him so much that he is in a hotel!!! But not staying with his grandma or none of his aunts!! Why is he in a hotel! Yall supposed to be such a support when he had hearings for charges where were yall?? But his dad was there! It’s all public record, the will is public record Kevin Sr is not disputing it. No matter what the sisters say now we all saw the disconnect with them for years. For them to try and make us believe they were so cool with Traci before she got sick is guilt. None of their husbands except Vince Herbert had money like that. Look at them all divorced and unhappy. Traci was true to her marriage until death did, they part.
Gabe owned a tech company. He probably didn’t have Vincent Herbert type of money but had enough to take care of Trina and her two sons that he raised as his.

It was obvious to me while watching the show that they felt, Kevin Sr, wasn’t good enough. That’s why they never truly connected with Kevin Jr. That’s why all this new found attention , and concern for him seems phony. I’m so glad Ms. Surratt is speaking her truth.
I thought the exact same thing about their relationship with Kevin Jr.. First when Towanda started calling him “Squeaky” and Trina looked at her all confused and said, “Who is that!??” because she clearly never heard of him being referred to that way (made for TV), then when he had that seizure at the hotel … WHY didn’t she bring him to her house IF she’s so concerned about him?? Why not stay with him at the hotel if she couldn’t bring him home with her, to keep eyes on him?? He just LOST his mother, WHY put him up in a hotel to begin with!!?? Thirdly, when they engaged him in a conversation where they attacked his Father - his last remaining parent, while he’s clearly mourning his mothers death and the end of his marriage, and access to his child. They could’ve supported HIM without tearing down his father IF they cared so much about him. Fourth, KNOWING that Traci never announced her cancer and was so private about it throughout her treatment, WHY would they show her in the final stages of her life when she’s clearly unwell in a manner she would have NEVER shown herself in!!?? What the heck is WRONG with these people!!??

Nothing else was said after, trust if those sisters knew of other babies I’m sure they would have exposed it already. The truth is the truth but you got to talk like you have forgiven him. Tracy had a forgiving heart. But we also saw Tracy very angry at times with her sisters and mother. But we could see that Traci always had a forgiving heart.

I could listen to this lady talk all day. The difference in listening to Ms. Surratt speak and Evelyn is like night and day. One has kindness and wisdom…the other not so much.
Ms. E makes my stomach hurt!!!! She reminds me SO MUCH of my own TOXIC mother!!!!! It was HARD to watch the new show when she was SOOOO arrogant and stupid! It made me wonder why I was watching and I had NO valid reason so I stopped watching, realizing that Traci was really the only reason I supported the show in the first place!!!!

Not to discredit your point, but Ms E, has some wisdom and knowledge. It shows when she has her one on one with her daughters. She has said some very profound things. Now, back to your point, I think those things are overshadowed because you can tell that she does seem to have some misplaced anger and malice that she still hasn't healed from.

What's unfortunate is that Traci experienced rejection twice: not signing her record contract because she was pregnant with Kevin, Jr. and then her family not accepting Kevin, Sr. from the beginning with the exception of Mr. Braxton, Sr. & Michael, Jr. & perhaps Toni since she was signed to LaFace Records by then & relocated to Atlanta.

Traci was all about her community and the love is duly returned. Please to whoever is meant to carry out her wishes, establish her cancer awareness foundation in her name. Her advocacy was everything to her and especially for what regards educating and uplifting the black community. Her legacy deserves to be carried forward.

God Blessed her with her own family. She spoke dearly of Kevin’s other children. She called them her children and Kevin JR grew up with them. There may have been some jealousy towards Traci because she wasn’t jumping from man to man. She was also close to her dad and his wife and her brother and his family. Of course a mother is going to favor her son, but I do feel she is telling her truth as she saw it. We “the public” will never know the entire story. And honestly we shouldn’t. But I do feel Kevin loved his wife. The marriage had issues, but what marriage doesn’t. Traci grew apart from her sisters and they tried to mend it when she became sick. I can't believe Traci had bed sores with a mother and four sisters who claim they were there with her. There is no way that should have happened. My brother, father, sister, mother and my husband were all at one point bedridden for over a year. My sister was bedridden for ten years and none of them ever had a bedsore. My husband had ALS and I was his caregiver and I would have to get up in the bed to turn him, change, and make sure he was clean. I'm so sorry this happened to Traci. I am crying while listening to this because it hurts to watch these women on TV and realize what Traci went through. Keep your head up Kevin because nobody knows unless they have gone through the loss of a spouse how it feels. There is no hurt like it. God Bless You.🙏

……everybody knows that the Braxton’s would never accept Kevin Sr. bc he was not rich and not in the entertainment industry and also they refuse to accept Tracey bc she was fat and married below her station in life and that also was unacceptable to the Braxton’s (please note: all the remaining Braxton’s were all divorced but they didn’t accept her husband -that’s crazy work)

Facts. I believe so many of their children had a preference for Traci as well. It was reported that Logan and Towanda's children in particular were devastated by the loss, and we saw throughout the years how those children gravitated to her in every instance. They ran to her arms and looked at her with love. Just goes to show you can't fake energy and spirit.

How sisters cannot be kind while one is on this earth that unconditionally love them. Some wait until life is complete. Why not give them flowers when they are living. Lady Tracy was a precious jewel in my heart more like pearls. My Lord Brother Suratt. We all knew how much you and your wife loved each other. Even through our marriage challenges. Those things only come to build and unified a marriage. It’s only those that bring negativity. Until life hit them head on, we are just human beings passing through. I Loved listening to Mrs Surratt sharing her relationship with Tracy. Tracy was Blessed to marry Kevin Sr and be welcomed in to his Beautiful Family. I’m also happy she had A Loving relationship with her Father and Brother. I’m Praying that Kevin Sr and Kevin Jr will mend their relationship and be there for each other. I am glad she shares this. Living with someone when they are grown as a wife and a mother is a total different relationship than living under a roof as a child and a teenager. I sure her relationship was closer than her mom. You could see that see was a daddy girls and she loved her mom too.
