When I access the SD card, it tells me that it has a virus, is it safe?
I need a copy of SM64 but it would be weird to buy SM64 without an N64, but I have no use buying an N64. This is the dilemma I have to go through if I ever want to play this.
Does the virtual sd work in Retroarch Android? I have the patch running flawless but no options whatsoever for a virtual sd card?

I need help for this! Its the first time I tried something like this. I build a Level in Parallel Launcher, saved the Game and tried to search the file, but found nothing. Then I wanted to continue to build the Level but Its now completly gone! Can someone please help me!

The only Problem With 3d Maker Would Be Invis Walls(pannenkoek made a Video on invis walls in m64 and a lot of them come from Stage builders Having The platform slightly undershoot the next even tho its possible for it to perfectly line up) and Trolls Could Place invis Walls on purpese like how kazio Blocks exist
@@floppa_gamer1111 Yes, clearly a new 3D Mario Maker would feature bugs from Mario 64 that haven't affected any other 3D Mario released after it.

@@P0chuL1verIt's a euphemism to refer to younger gamers. Like how in Super Mario Maker you'd see levels that are just enemy spam or trolly pick-a-door type stuff that were likely created by 9-year-olds. Those 9-year-olds are Little Timmy.

@@papyrusty368 One of my favorite Hack's ever. So many better hack's have come throughout the year's but I alway's go back to SM74 eventually.
Basically SM74 was the first Rom hack to actually branch out and have custom Music and Level's. There is a hack that came before called "The Missing Star's" although it used Custom Level's it was in it's infancy with the assest's/Idea's that were on the table at the time a couple year's later after the community got the jist of everything we had someone release SM74.

This is so cool, it really reminds me of the level editor for a racing game called "Revolt" I used to play as a kid. Great job!

Yeah, not as in multiplayer though. Someone from the coop dx team said they'd like to make mb64 files usable with coop dx, so that people could make arena maps easier and stuff like that.
@@Haffey.z64 that’s exactly what I was thinking. That would be super cool to be able to make custom maps and then make it multiplayer
I would definitely like to make use of this in order to set up redesigns of the more linear main courses like Rainbow Ride and Tick Tock Clock so that they feel more open in comparison to the originals. That and precarious footing in regards to specific character movesets.

For those who can't use parallel launcher to play this masterpiece,I found a way to save levels,use Save states,once you make progress,make a Save state then load it when ever you want to play that specific level you made,I tested this and it works
Still can't download other levels by other people,but you can use this to at least make a level and save it without the virtual sd card thing
This doesn't let you actually save your levels to share with other people though.
@@montyvr6772 you can easily share save states tho
This is my solution as well. Hopefully someday other emulators will have support and then we can save our levels in save states so that they can be preserved.
Even if you can't share the levels,You can at least save your progress on your levels so you create other levels without losing the former level
I believe you just described how Super Mario 64 Maker's level sharing is typically done. Yeah, it would work. Is it as good of a user experience? No.
I'm so excited to see what the community does with this also you can find some levels on level share square not rn but theres a section for it

I only downloaded this a couple of hours ago on my steam deck, but my compliments to the team, you guys made a better Mario Maker game than Nintendo did, and you only needed 1 game style to do it, 2 if you count the classic textures as a different style.
True, right? I'm in the middle of recreating whole games in this engine now! Of course, I can't recreate undertale's battle system, but still!

Amazing! It feels like a game that would have been part of the 64DD Mario Artist games. Where you could import textures from Paint Studio and tag it to few custom blocks.

I really would love to see some more textures. Childhood me had this dream of a custom Mario 64 Level and I need some more textures to bring it to life! I'm specifically thinking about those rocky platforms you climb inside the volcano in Lethal Lava Land!
Other suggestions:
Customized Bowser landings. I'd like to do a "boxing ring" Bowser fight in a very tight amount of space. (Bowser would obviously take up much more space than Mario in an actual boxing ring.)
Level editing camera turn 45 degrees like Lakitu cam, instead of just 90 degree turns.

Can you add in your own custom music/mp3s?

Hell yeah dude. Got this running on my Steam Deck. Seem to be limited when building though... can only put in Gombas for example.
This is an amazing tool that opens up a whole new world of possibilities! It's the closest just anyone could get to creating their own levels like the ones in my worlds.
I've been playing around with this myself, and despite the many options I've seen, this is still pretty limiting. If we could add/change our own textures, then it would be perfect!
The level at 1:43 very clearly has custom textures
@@Mate_Antal_Zoltan I don't think so, I played the level editor, and I'm pretty much convinced that those textures come with that level palette.

I feel that this ROM hack should come with a manual + video tutorials. It took me a long time to figure out how to make bosses spawn stars (you're supposed to place stars *inside them*).
