I’d like to see this again, or something like it in a different league maybe, but add a rule that if you try to push it by going for a player that’s slightly over and having the limit bid rejected, the other person gets to make an offer on a player they want, until you both take a player from the squad. There should be some risk/reward to trying to push the pricing.
Thought the same, either switch so the other gets to make their pick if a offer is rejected or maybe something like "next offer for a player at this club gets reduced by 2-3 million". Also other idea I had: At the start put together 20 different sums (like lets say 5 million, 10 million, 15 million and keep going like that till 100 million) and you can use each sum only once for a club. Could add some randomness into it too by instead of chosing you put the sums on card and you pull one at random.
The way the picks were made isn't the best, I would go from top to bottom, take turns and with each club you take turns and if you get a bid rejected you miss a turn until each person has 1 player each from that club. This way the rejected bids mean nothing

Nice concept, tbf any concept becomes unique when there's a vs challenge involved, and that is the brilliance of your channel mate. these vs challenge won't need a 5 year rebuild, but you can do for a different top 5 league where dad might not know players from every club, that would give an added challenge in itself😅 keep up the goood work mate❤

Day 9 of asking for Kaizer Chiefs vs Orando Pirates rebuild in South Africa, Mamelodi Sundowns have dominated the league for the last decade or so with these 2 sleeping giants and most notable and historic South African teams performing poorly would make a perfect rebuild! With only Orlando Pirates and Sundowns being CAF champions league winners can one of you bring continental glory to the chiefs? 🇿🇦
Add additional seasons to this and make it a series! You could release players and pick up players from the team they originally played for… Or something else depending on what works!

I reckon you should do another vs Dad £50mil challenge but maybe with Serie A, Ligue 1 or La Liga with Mid-Table teams like Betis & Villarreal in Spain or Rennes 😂 & Reims in France just a suggestion but I think that'd be interesting 👍
Why don’t you put all the major nations in the game in a hat, you both pick a nation from the hat. Using a donor club in the prem then you can only select players from that country for your team (no restrictions). So for example if you picked Finland, your entire team will have to be made up of Finnish players. (Maybe set a total spending cap of 500mil)
What's the best way to simulate FM this year? Just re-started playing after a few years and want to do a longer term save, with less match to match management
You can set your team up , play about 4 games until the transfer window closes , then go on holiday , pick the date you want to come back , either for the January transfer window or end of season June 1st 👍
