Great video! One recommendation: Jonathan Gibson's "Be Thou My Vision" has been really enjoyable for me! It's highly liturgical, akin to using the Book of Common Prayer, but uses Scriptural calls to worship, and assurances of pardon. Every day has its own reading from a confession of faith (the Heidelberg Catechism or the Westminster) and can be used in conjunction with the McCheyne Bible reading plan. It's got reflections, confessions of sin, and prayers of intercession from fathers and mothers of the faith. If that's not enough its quite beautifully constructed, printed, and formatted. If you end up getting it I'd love to know what you think!
I read and enjoyed Winter Fire an advent devotional based on GK Chesterton’s work this year. Have you read much of him? And will be reading Practical Meditations in 2025 which is a book of daily readings from the an anonymous jesuit in the 1800s.
I attend an Evangelical church, and that is my background in the faith, but I am open and interested in learning more about other mainstream denominations.
Thanks for another great upload, Lois.
Thanks for the recommendations Lois, they look interesting.

I've read St Therese of Liseux's biography and found it inspirational. Maybe she is featured in the last book you mentioned.
I don't think she is in the book, but I found her on the Our Church Speaks instagram! - instagram.com/ourchurchspeaks/p/DBKJ0H6h76c/

I haven't read any GK Chesterton yet but would really like to! Sounds great 👍
Can recommend The Prologue of Ochrid by St. Nikolaj Velimirovic
Thanks for the recommendation:)
Are you Orthodox, subscribe to a particular denomination or discovering Christ as you go?
