I needed this video last year for my valencia orange tree! Guess what I'm doing tomorrow!?! I'm nervous but feel much better about it after your video. Val is VERY straight up and I need her to stop that and grow a beautiful canopy. Wish me luck!

I use a home made blend called 511. 5 parts pine bark 1 part coarse #3 perlite and 1 part binder (soil of choice) 1 tablespoon of dolomite lime per true gallon. I modify it to 512 to combat the Texas heat
I use osmocote plus monthly and foilage pro weekly.

Thx! Great info for this newbie! Would you prune right before taking in for winter or only during summer? How about while indoors at all?

I prune from spring to mid fall. But I have a long growing season. So from Marchish to mid October I prune. I give the new growth a few weeks to toughen up. But I’m a go big or go home guy
