It's much hotter in summer time. But that's how China fight against the covid. That's very hard, but they sacrifice themselves to keep everybody safe. Chinese people are grateful for the doctors, nurses, social workers who work so hard in fighting the virus.

With all the influx of athletes coming from all over, their protective gear is a must for your own protection and for themselves as well. Good job to China for handling all the different aspects of the olympics so smoothly. Well done.

2022 is incredible man .. growing up I held Olympic athletes in the highest regard and looked at their process and life as a hidden gem I truly wouldn't know about from the inside .. now we got these top athletes vlogging, showing and sharing their experience with us! I love it.

One year ago, when I was in quarantine, I got to know it usually took one half an hour just to get into the PPE suit, for they need to be very careful and make sure all the seams were taken care of. And there is a case that a guy working in a quarantine hotel got the virus spreading across because his PPE suit was broken, so people pay more attention to the suit now.
And it is very hot and wet in the suit, thankfully they are wearing it in winter, that would be a nightmare in summer.
And because it takes a lot of time just to put them on, doctors and nurses and those who work in airports, etc. has to eat less and drink less before wearing that suit, to largely reduce the chance they have to get out of the suit, so that they won’t need to use the bathroom very often.
Very grateful for their sacrifice and hard work to keep people safe.

Sad that there are still people who have no appreciation of what these workers and volunteers go through to ensure their safety and well-being.

Everyone who gets a job in airport can understand basic English because we were learning from 9 to 18/22, he just might be too shy or inconvenient to chat at work

Exactly. To make the assumption like that was pretty rude and ignorant. She might be too exhausted to make a decent conversation. Hopefully, she has learned something from the trip and improved her cultural perspective, which is another meaningful purpose of the Game.

Hot in full gear PPE for at least 8 hours or longer ? Oh yes you bet. But to make sure every athletes safe throughout the game, it worths it. Big thanks to all crews and volunteers.

    我穿著過防疫衣...只是15分鐘已經出汗~ 原來防疫人員、自願者成為我國新景點🤣
I've been wearing anti-epidemic clothes... I've only been sweating for 15 minutes~ It turns out that anti-epidemic personnel and volunteers have become new attractions in our country 🤣

Great Video, but Just Imaging you the one trying to protect everyone by wearing a protective suit 24 x 7, and being jokingly asked: "Are you Hot" and walk away with the dodgy smirk....... You don't have to behave like this to show people you are from Czech.

Nice place and looks like very clean air.
Couple of questions, I am very curious, because in europe we only read the msm, so also the negative articles.
    1) Were there any problems with your internetconnections? Is it from ATOS, they are the IOC it service supplier. Did you need a vpn, was it hard to do so, because you can upload to youtube.
    2) The tv channels, are they only chinese, or also western channels, or foreign channels?
    3) The food in the restaurants, how is it? Also halal food? I read in the msm (US) that the food was very bad in the restaurant and also in the quarantine hotel.

I can understand if someone says that they are not used to Chinese food. In fact, they also provide western food such as pizza, pasta, salad, etc. But it would be ridiculous to say that the food provided by China is terrible. China is the best country in the world to cook their food.

There are Asian and European dishes here. Most athletes are satisfied. Some athletes have eaten more than 100 dumplings, but only Koreans have bad comments on the dishes here because they don't have their favorite kimchi

Some VPN are free to use and some good one just few dollars a month, people in China just could get it in minuets if they want to. Go to China and see it with your own eyes, it is a huge country, peace and safe, full of energy

Halal food is served in all the schools in China so I don't think they're going to make that mistake for the winter Olympics. We maybe have a relatively limited internet accessiblity but usually for visiters they will provide internet service without the limitation or at least provide a stable and secure VPN. I don't know much about the TV channels though sry about that. We may have very different culture and social conditions but we sure know how to treat our guest properly. Cheers!
