Strictly speaking, this and the blue car are Daimler 2 1/2 litre models produced before the cars were revised (slightly downwards in certain areas). The bumpers are chief giveaways and I could refer you to the white car Mathewsons have which is a V8 250 but has incorrect earlier bumpers! I suppose they are getting on for 60 years old and things do get changed.....
I was just thinking the same thing I love these cars but I would hate to have one in as good condition as these are you would be frightened to actually use it you can just see you go to the shops and someone throws open there door bang paint chipped or scratched.

One thing that I don't like about the design of Mk1 / Mk2 / S types are the exposed B pillars all the way down.
It's not a good look.
