Here's my First Gear Wittke Front-Loader dumping 8 hand-made styrene dumpsters and 2 First Gear Dumpsters followed by a trip to the First Gear "dump"...Enjoy! Remember to rate and let me know what you think!
Thanks! All of the containers are built using real-life specs, so the sizes are extremely accurate. The lids and pockets are the hardest part. On a good day, I can build up to 6 dumpsters in one day...Provided I don't get too bored or frustrated lol...
Destiny or not? I watched this when I was 6 years old,& now I got to this video again while watching GTA IV! Also,I didn't have a TH-cam account when I last watched this,I'm now 17 & have my own TH-cam account!
Maybe sometime...There's only 2 problems though... 1. I'm having probs. with my camera and 2. Both my ASL's have damage to the grabbers, so it looks like I'm gonna have to buy a new ASL :-( Once I have those 2 problems fixed, I'll gladly make an ASL vid!
When these trucks first came out in '02/03'...I almost forgot! I have a fourth diecast dumpster! I painted it burgundy and put old WM logos and recycling decals on it!
Not anytime soon! I have just enough containers for my route right now! I may decide to sell one or two on ebay later on after I build more of my own, though! If I do, I'll let you know!
Yep, I use Evergreen Scale Models 0.75mm Styrene for the containers, 0.4mm for the lids, and various strips for the details...I also rectangular tubing for the pockets...
The material is Evergreen Scale Models .75 mm styrene, the paint is Krylon Fusion for Plastics spray paint, and as far as the decals, I printed them myself on a laser printer.
Super nice garbage truck, I want one!!! Gabe
I actually have 3! I bought one on ebay back when they were packaged separate from the trucks, and I have 2 FL's!
The OCC cage front is vinyl window screen. My grandma had about 10 square feet of extra she gave to me, so I used for making OCC cages!
great job on those dumpsters! 5*
hey buddy great job you did a nice job with the dumpsters to nice looking lids on them to like the different sizes
Thanks! They take me about an hour each to make (not counting paint and decals) provided I'm not distracted :-)

I built them all myself. I use styrene to make all the pieces and then use model glue to assemble them!
Super real scale model & nice demo!
The styrene should be available in most hobby stores, and I get the pain t at Wal-Mart!

Actually, I do have the old brown logos on the brown containers, you just can't tell in this vid because of TH-cam's reduced quality...
