Not knowing Poole harbour at all, why are so many boats leaving at once. Are they just cruising in company or are they bunched up having been held up by tide, lock gates, bridges or whatever.
Hi, the reason for it, there is an inner Marina called Cobb’s Quay with two lifting bridges, the bigger boats have to wait for hourly bridge lifts, you can in the height of summer have 30+ boats going out on the hour at each lift and the same returning after a days boating.
@@Sailingshakti-Sportscruiser guess this is when dynamic positioning on IPS boats pays off. But no doubt this incumbrance is reflected in the Cobbs Quay mooring fees 🤣🤣
