Can someone give advice? I have a zebra finch that I bonded with very well. We have a lot of fun. He tries to build a nest in his favorite spot from anything possible, in hopes of buying a female zebra finch. He doesn't seem lonely, but I feel like he could possibly do better with a companion. What do I do?
It is generally recommended to keep zebra finches in pairs, they thrive more with companions. If you get a female be prepared because they tend to breed like crazy 😂. But you could also get him another male companion if yoy don't want to deal with offspring.
I'm hoping to get a female zebra finch this weekend as a companion for my female budgie. She's actually interacting better with this than when I play budgies. They will be separated for a month.

Get him a male friend. No babies and they bond just as much.
