Hello Tino, I grew up in post war Germany and Ebensee was one of my favorite places to visit. We were forbidden to go near any of the old war sights, but of course we did though. Thank you for showing what we always suspected in those tunnels. My Opa always would tell stories of the things that went on there, thank you again

I remember reading a science fiction short story collection written in 1937 or 38 about traveling to the moon, the author was Robert Heinlen. He later, after the war, expanded the short story into a novel in 1947 and the space ship changed fuel supplies to a Thorium reactor using its heat to boil zinc to get a controllable fuel to power a spaceship. All that thought in 1947 as Heinlein was a stickler for science accuracy.

That last bit of information about the briefcase and moving funds out of, then back into Germany is absolutely fascinating. Since we (the Americans) got all of these factories handed to us, somewhere in our deepest archives, there is all the knowledge as to absolutely everything that the Germans were working on. This also means we approved the money moving out and back into the country. Probably a trade for all the secrets they had. Incredible.

i guess with the aftermath of Germany laying in ruins, a lot of assistance was required to jump start the economy and get them standing on their own feet - hence things such as the car industry - food and fuel was scares as i know well from my grandfathers time there until 1948, work had to be found and ways to help themselves - i couldn't until last few years ever work out how German engineering ever seemed to be so superior, my earlier thoughts with so much in ruin it was simply rebuilt to newer and better standards, where as now i tend to think their tech and engineering was possibly already so much superior
there is a great channel to watch, Australian Armor Museum, the team there are always working on projects and been restoring various war time tanks, among them a few German ones, and for those who enjoy a bit of engineering, you will naturally be saying clever Germans, there had to be a lot of very clever people working in that time, as there were on many fronts

    VERY cool site!!
Concrete wall elements pre-cast "somewhere" else, then erected in the tunnels as "liners"?
"Tilt-Slab" construction, as it is now known now, made a resurgence in the outside world in the 1980s. Part of the "trick" is the slabs are poured "flat, complete with special "lifting points cast in (threaded steel inserts that are welded to the reinforcing mesh in the concrete. The "formwork" these days is usually steel and is basically modular, allowing different features like door and window openings and so forth. These "lifting points and other inserts, can be used to support thr framing for internal floor bearers / joists.
We may be denied Thorium reactors, but we continue to get strip malls and "shake 'n Bake" architecture........
Check out your local "strip mall" construction project to see it in action.. (But not miles underground) .

Thorium is suppressed because it's cheap and could replace petrol. I remember in the seventies reading a popular scientific magazine and there was a story about a car on thorium. It would need a 'refill' every 50,000 km or something. Of course, the oil industries can not tolerate this. Certainly now with the electric cars, a small thorium reactor would be an incredible replacement for batteries. This is probably the reason why it's erased from history.

No no Thorium needs to be transbreaded in Uranium 233 and only with that you can make real reactor for U Boats or a plane or car and that would have massive radiation drawbacks. Thorium allone can fuel large reactor that would generate heat and steam and transbeard the Thorium to U233.

You've got to hand it to Magda. The lady has a real gift. It's a slightly creepy gift sometimes, but a gift nonetheless. Lol.
You do have to wonder how much of what they still keep under lock and key all these years later is either kept locked up because they don't want it out there, or if it's just pure bureaucratic inertia keeping it tucked away. There's not much the government does these days that they can't make a complete mess of. But bureaucratic inertia? They've got that down to a frickin science.
Anywho, I do hope you're outside the disaster zone over there. I'm taking the fact you're still uploading as a good sign. I can't even begin to imagine what all those people are going through right now. But I'm sure the Hair Gel king is all over it. 🙄 What a mess, there and down in NC still. It's sad, and it ain't just us either, think about those in Eastern Tennessee, & some in Florida too, as far as hillene; but then you've also got Maui's similar experience to yours, not to mention Norfolk Southern's fiasco's aftermath still lingering up in Ohio too... and that's just the tip of the iceberg, too much tom f*ckery afoot these days...

Very intresting content. A true mystery indeed. Probably Germany was much further into realising an atomic bomb. A U boot full of radioactieve material was captured by the US. Probably gave them the Eureka monument how to develope a nuclear bomb. Remember the bomb dropped on Hiroshima was never tested. How did the US knew the bomb would actualy explode? Was this thanks to German technology handed over to the US?

    • @JR-sq2of
      @JR-sq2of 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

That U boat was captured in May of 1945. The US tested the atomic bomb in July of 1945. Not sure why you think the bomb wasn't tested. And I don't think we developed a nuclear weapon in 3 months, May - July. There are lots of books on this subject.

They had 4 types of very dangerous bombs: Dr. Zippermayrs coal dust thermobaric conventional bomb, the uranium collision type (Ardenne/Haxel) and the uranium implosion type (Diebner/Gerlach/Schumann/ Trinks) and the austrian implosion fusion hydrogen bomb from Schwaz Austria near Inssbruck created by Friedrich Lachner, Hans Thirring and Georg Stetter. Last but not least the miniaturized fission boosted fusion implosion type made in Bergkristall for the DKM44 railgun (Later called Atomic Annie in USA) it also was Friedrich Lachners, Hans Thirrings and Georg Stetters design.

So must be very production for full size sleepers on the ground( the gap in between each marks on the ground).

59 minutes in. There is no reason to put massive valves on "drainage lines" to do so would only lead to a blocked drain. More likely there was pressure requiring the fluid to no back drain but continue to maintain pressure at a higher point. Why a octagonal tank? It can be made easier with eight straight sides, no custom bending ans shaping required. It can be transported as flats curved components are more difficult to transport and require a larger space. .
