How weird! I just opened up MakeCode and I couldn't find the devices menu either. There's still a page mentioning it in the official documentation, and I noticed that if you click on the link in the description of the video to see my code, it still works. In fact, if you hit "Edit" after clicking the link to my code, you get taken to a MakeCode window with the Devices menu in the tray. Looks like the library still exists and functions, but it's been hidden for some reason. I might drop the foundation an email about that! Great spot!
It should do! In fact, the iPhone/Apple app for microbit has some features that the android app doesn't, and the pairing tends to be more reliable. So it might be even better with iPhone!
@@HannahMakes Thank you 😀 But I can’t make it work on an iPhone/iPad. The pairing works fine, and I can make the code, but I can’t make the interaction with the Micro:bit work...
@@gunnarlund6633 Hmm, that's weird! Have you tried updating the firmware on the microbit? I think the iphone app works better when you go into "monitor and control" to connect to the microbit, then leave that screen open, so you could try that?
@@HannahMakes Hello again. As you said the solution was to choose "Monitor and Control" and let it be open. There are quite a lot of steps to take until it works. But thank you very much for your advice and the best wishes of a happy new year!
I dont have the "devices" thingy!
These microbits are very well developed and supported, aren't they? So much stuff in such a small package. Love it!
They're so great! And I love how there are multiple options for programming them too!
what value should the accelerometer strength should be when if the door opens it triggers and not if the knob moves
I wanted to send a message to vibrate my phone but I cannot find the Devices extension that you mentioned in your video.

how to make it wireless
It's already wireless, in that it doesn't have to be plugged in anywhere to work. Do you mean wireless charging?
Does it work with iPhone?
