VAULTS 101 was an important video when I started Parkour, because it gave a simple overview of all the Parkour techniques known to date. I always wanted to re-create an updated version and thought this format I saw on the CaliMove TH-cam channel worked perfectly. What should I do next? 100 wall tricks? 100 vaults?

Wait what edit?
I am a expert in parkour seriously
I got featured in the master category, I'm honored. I feel like that gives me credit to say that if there is anyone out there who is both experienced enough in movement and creative thinking to make a parkour guide that is worth your money its Jason. I wish I could send this kind of thing back to my young self when I was starting out. if you are on the fence about this guide, I'd say go for it. He's smart, OG, and well respected by the community!
Dude, you’re clearly in the master category 😁 appreciate the kind words 🙏🏻🖤 means a lot coming from you 🥰
nice. Hopefully I can achieve a degree of advanced that could even challenge you. Prolly not though. Also I'll check your channel.
it would be a fun challenge to try do these all in one day!
Best Video (;
Make it a real challenge and do these all in one line....
Skills! 😮
@@zooboyjoe Think we need a bounty, this would create such an epic amount of dope content.
I taught him everything he knows 😝 even the good stuff 🤣
6:09 bro the trapdoor is one of the coolest moves ive ever seen
I love this project how you finally make Parkpur beginner-friendly. Your tips are so strong and helpful at all skill levels, I started Parkpur much earlier but am currently kind of stuck. My friends have stopped and the effort to try something new is becoming more and more difficult. Nevertheless, your newsletters continue to motivate and this video in particular gave me a really good overview of parkour in general. thanks for that Jason!
So happy to hear that the newsletters and videos are making life easier 😊 it’s a bit harder in the solo training camp, but for me it was worth it in the long run
Every move you did in this video looks elegant and dope, love it!
This was one of the most enjoyable videos I’ve watched about parkour and freerunning in ages. There will always be things that one subjectively ranks differently , but overall I felt like this was really thought through and is a very respectable list especially considering each group from beginner to master.
Alter! Danke bro 🙏🏻
Got the email 🤙 You're making history brother. This is going to inspire so many beginners and set a roadmap for people to enjoy progressing through. And for people who have been in it for a long time, it's a steady reminder of how far they've come and that nothing is stopping them from progressing. Nothing is stopping me now. And that nothing is cork 0.
Thanks so much man 🙏 newsletter gang 😁👊🏼 all the best for your cork 0 journey, I’ve yet to try it
U bet
absurdly cool video! your movement is so clean, and especially the flips. I aspire to have wall fronts like yours one day
🖤 I believe in you 😅
Huge video. Must have been an awful lot of work but it’s here to stay and will forever be appreciated!
Cannot wait to go through it and assess my level
I was so sore 😅 thank you, that’s very nice of you to say 🙏🏻
Great overview. Some names were new to me. I wouldn't get too attached to the level labels though. I've seen people do "advanced flips" but fail doing a "basic" wallrun.
Great point!
I love the emails and I’m so happy that you’re back on TH-cam. Thank you for this masterpiece ❤
It was an informative Parkour video. And I learned what level I am at, thank you. Thanks to you, I have now decided which moves I should continue with in my Parkour career.
Exactly what I needed! I got 2 beginner books on the way and using the explanations from those with this video will help me so much.
Thank you
Clever video idea. Awesome execution! 🎉
I think I'm at 5 but I can't really do most of 3.... ahahah
You are…. special 😂
😅
Dom is on another level...... ❤
Brilliant my man! Got the newsletter first then the youtube notification, hopped over to watch it and loved it! There's some stuff in the beginner section I should still work on but I felt proud of all the intermediate stuff I do 😂
Thank you!! Yeah, I think it make sense to go back and pick up those moves 😁 low hanging fruits
I love the music choices for the different levels. 😂 This video is really helpful even on its own. Thank you so much for focusing on beginner content. Your course looks amazing. Considering the quality I see you put into everything you do I have no doubt it is absolute top notch. Everything parkour I encounter in real life is just daycare. As an adult who wants to learn to move at my full human potential for the first time in my life, it feels like there is nothing really for me but TH-cam. The price of the course is quite intimidating but I do think it would be worth it. I've been trying to document my progress since I started teaching myself parkour a couple years ago, and while I do feel my overall physicality and movement ability have been steadily improving, it still feels more like conditioning to be able to learn parkour, more so than learning parkour. Well, I like to use a broad definition of parkour, but it was the idea that there is a sequence of progression for each advanced movement that is what really attracted me to it in the first place. Anyway, I should probably buy this course, I really want to, but STORROR just took all my money with cloths drops... 😵💫
Damn you, storror! 😂 thanks so much, glad you’re enjoying the new wave of content. I’m really enjoying needing out about Parkour and want to make it look as delightful as it feels to me 😊
I love the clear parkour moves showing every direction.....you have given me something to practice body mechanics in animation
That's wonderful, bro. All moves have shown very clearly.
Earned a subscribe in the first 3 minutes. First channel I have seen that broke down this artform into achievable steps
Starkes Video. War mir bei einigen Tricks nie wirklich sicher wie sie heißen.💪
Such an amazing video! Absolutely love it! ❤
Gracias 🙏
Very nice clip Jason ❤
great content! thank you for all the influence. take care since winter is coming : >
I really loved the list, it made me dig on my google drive in search of a parkour training plan that I wrote for my friends like a decade ago. My personal favourite was that you included the pencil roll as a beginner technique. I feel like it doesn't get enough love and it's actually a useful movement.
Yeah, right. I need to train the pencil roll in fact. It's actually very useful to move under parking vehicles and such tight spaces.
Pencil roll ftw!! 😁😁😁
I’d never heard of this before today. I’m amazed! Looks like a great skill to accomplish. Good job!
Thank you! It really is a good time
It’s about time someone made this video 😂 love it Jason 🔥🫶
😅💪🏼 nobody was, so I had to 😁
I would say I'm advanced on the cusp of expert. I can do the majority of the the tricks showcased in advanced and a pretty good amount in master. Love the vid! Everything looked so clean and the filming was great!
Great idea nice work 👍
I love this man you are the LEGEND! 😮🙏🏾❤
This is so helpful for anyone who might feel stuck in thier training (me)
one of the best Videos for parkour ever
Maybe a slight over statement, but thank you😆
Thank Jason 👍👍👍
I'm also learning parkour and these are the parkour moves i nedeed I'm begginer so thank you Jason paul for uploading that kind of video this will help in my parkour training love you brother keep going ❤
Amazing this video got me to do parkour again after 5 years I’ve always liked parkour i have been doing it since 2015 but I’ve gotten a little bit lazy no excuses do i’m back💪🔥
Yoooo, I LOVE hearigg neg that 😃 welcome back!!
As a parkour coatch im quiet im pressed being in the sage of expert to advanced more leaning to expert kind stuff like youve shown so thanks for refueling my confidence 😊😊❤
I wish we had videos to warch like yours back in the 2015 era, where I started parkour.
Now I’m on the level where I could do mostly some tricks from every category (but only 1 from the expert but didn’t quite stomp thệ landing ) but I still couldn’t maintain and get comfortable with the flips. I don’t know which level where I am. Watching your videos is never regretful 🙌🏻
Around 2015 you could already learn parkour from videos by Jesse LaFlair, RonnieStreetStunts and The Tapp Brothers. These tutorials still rock. Just like not every jogger runs the marathon most people who practice parkour never do flips. It's a typical Instagram vs reality thing. Flashy moves work great online but are not useful and advisable on the street.
this is cool because i was running out of tricks to learn and now I know what i can learn ( I'm at 4-Expert )
Phenomenal! I remember - when I was much younger - that I knew I would never get hurt if I fell, because I would "tuck and roll." Now that I'm old, not so much. But love the new name it has "PARKOUR." Great video taking us through Beginner to Master! Now I want to try to start again!
Thank you! You wouldn’t be the first person to get into Parkour at an advanced life experience level 😁
Human ingenuity is something else. Its Math, Science, Art, Creativity, Motion, Poetry all in one instance. These people are not only inventing eats of moving efficiently but trying put their own spin on it, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved. Just amazing.
Keep up the content!
Super Video!
Dude your insane! So cool
I never thought I'd rank high intermediate/low advanced. I'm sow happy it finally feels like my work has payed off
Jason, thanks a lot for the video, it helped me a lot. Also I bought the same shoes 👞 👟. This video is really helpful 👌
So awesome.
insane that you did so many of them in a day!
saving this for when i forget the name of a move haha thank you
sidenote: it was your tutorial on Farang that made me realise that I can start parkour, even as an adult :)
I was very very very very sore the next day haha
Sidenote: That's so wonderful to hear!!! Good work and thanks for letting me know
💙 this. Very helpful
good shit love it!
Thanks for helping out behind the camera 👊🏼🖤
klaro! danke dir für dein vertrauen 😘@@TheJasonPaul
Keep it up brh you are talented👍💪💪💪
Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you!
This guy is so smooth
Putting Descents and Flip prescisions right next to 360 Kong Gainers Fulls is kinda mad.
Parkour is such a broad sport, comparing the best of the best is a lot like apples and oranges :)
i am begginer, i would be happy with advanced in the future, nice video
i missed u guys
Likewise ☺️
Helpful thnks ♥
your videos make great animation reference!
Geile Mucke, geile Moves, bekomm ich direkt Bock raus zu gehen
5:28 i think we all know when this skill could have saved hundreds of lives
I don’t
i am begginer been training for about a week now, ive seen your begginer training video and am currently working on my precisions
Let’s go 😃 welcome to the world of parkour!
Thanks Jason, this a refreshing thing, since vault 101:) Where would you rank double fulls and double flips?
Great list!! 💯🔥👏 While I can do some things from the expert list, and most of the things from the advanced list, I have never tried some of the things from beginner list 😳. They look cool though, so I think I will! 😎😏
Props 😁 I think it’s a fun challenge to try and complete each level
I'm between advanced and expert which I'm proud of but I'd like to become a master! I've done a few master tricks in gym but haven't mastered any outside!
I guess the next level of breakdown, would be 100 moves ranked for each of your core elements 🤔 (vaults, swings, landings, etc) loved the course, and love this video to help show what to look forward to progressing to 🙏 onto my next quest !
P.s. if youre thinking about picking up the course, and find yourself somewhere in the beginner/intermediate range, then this course will be great for helping you work towards your next level 👊💥
That’s one of the best tutorials ever 😁
Merci mon amour
❤❤awesome
dope!
Cheers man!
I'm in the intermediate tier never would had guessed thought shimmy, roll, and vault was beginner stuff especially rolling, but shimmy I get takes a lot of strength
this is soo sick, i like this video a lot. and i think that 60 is way more scary than 91. i have done a swing gainer regrap with a full twist outside, but (baby)giants are so scary to commit.
Love it ❤, towards the Olympics 🫡
I was scaling buildings via drainpipes and vaulting over garden walls way before it was cool. My mate Francis and I would routinely scale up 2-3 stories of cast iron drainpipe and get onto the roof by hooking a foot over the gutter. I've been mountain climbing as a teenager too with safety ropes and such and was terrified but never getting up the side of a building. I wouldn't climb so fast and recklessly as some of these guys do. But some buildings we used to climb up were as known to us as a favorite tree and could be climbed pretty quick.

badman 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
many of the vaults you show like kong laze etc. i learned way before i could do a precision or running precision propertly so i would consider those beginner and the precisions intermidiate imo.
Hmmm, I think it depends at what size you start counting it as a “precision”. For an absolute beginner small precision jumps can be a great starting step towards learning the jumping skills required for basic vaults :)
A lot of moves aren't parkour but freerunning, but it's still a super good video it was nice to watch
i used to be somewhere around intermediate to advance..but now after years of hiatus, post pandemic, getting weight and busy working (middle age man stuff)..idk man, even my flips and precision is all over the place now, but i don't want to give up on pk..it's my fav thing since high school
Great video! Although I believe that castaway is way harder than any of the expert flips
List of my favorite:
0:37
1:18
1:25
1:45
2:23
2:36
2:56
2:57
3:50
3:54
4:04
4:25
5:11
5:23
got strength and weakness
According to your training schedule and how much time you give to those movement
It's really funny I'm able to do certain Master level techniques but I find certain expert and advanced level techniques very difficult but that's just do to my height
It’s funny how even some of the best athletes have large weak spots 😁 but I think that speaks for how diverse the range of movement in our discipline is
This is so useful!!!! Little exercises for beginners but can really improve skills.
Where can you find these types of places?? i wanna do parkour but have no spots near me (that i know of) are these like regional or just in more populated places? 2:23 and 2:41 are the places im talking about
Yeaah 🔥🔥❤️💪🏻
Hello Jason 👋 could you make tutorial videos of some of these movements or of YOUR OWN or ORIGINAL ones that you do?
Back when i practiced i never enjoyed the whole acrobatic aspect of free running, but im glad to know from this i was in the middle of advanced kkkkkk
Fuck, i miss doing parkour so bad, there has never been any exercise or activity that gave me that much bliss as it
nice
Secret ninja tricks ❤❤❤
As someone who has never tried parkour and only watched videos - the most "utilitarian" moves are in the first two sections, and the more advanced moves seem more freerunning than parkour.
All of it is impressive nonetheless 💯
True :) the more technical it gets it’s generally less useful, just like tools in your toolbox. Hammer is most basic, but most versatile.
I absolutely like the area there. All these buildings...Where was that filmed, i wonder?
Hi I don't have that money for your course because I'm living in Iran but I really love parkour and I want to learn it in higher levels
what should I do jason?
so good!! but guess i would be around advanced/ expert which feels good and about right haha
Right on!
Me: Struggles to climb up half-wall, manages, cheers, slight breeze pushes me toward the other end... falls down 10 feet and f***ing dies
I know name of many moves, i was play it but I didn't know it names❤
Some of the moves don’t really have names 😅 I tried to came up with names that make sense
PLEASE someone tell me the song name on the advanced gategory
I thought I was beginner cause I'm still locking in those moves, but then Intermediate is shit I've doing all my life. But still I'm tryna refine them into perfection. Your park looks amazing. Mine is in the PNW of USA and it has friggin bark chips as the floor. Only ever dry 4 months of the years.
Jason that's my city offenbach it that video nice! Roland passage
haargenau :D
i always looked at myself for 15 years as a beginner i guess i am really an advanced pk guy not much of flips though . thanks for the names for each move ..
Hello Jason! Would it be possible to tell us what equipment you use for filming? (Camera, lenses, tripods ect.)どもありがとうございます!
