      @@robertI153 I think it was just an old rubber hose. Sure it could have sat in some old gas for a while but I don't think the saw ever ran on old fuel. The cylinder and piston were pretty clean.

    So it looks like the ground side of the kill switch is attached to my anti vibe spring. Idk if that's correct or not?
    Anyway I am fighting a no spark issue , but plan on doing fuel lines when it goes back together.
    Thank you got great vid.

    • @TheGreasyShopRag
      @TheGreasyShopRag  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That doesn't sound right but I don't remember for sure. Either way, the ground attached to the wrong spot wouldn't prevent spark but a damaged wire between coil and switch would. Also a bad switch would. If you disconnect the kill wire from the coil and still don't have spark then it has nothing to do with the switch or wires.

    Just me being a saw nerd..
    .
    Thats a gen2, 372 and would be called a x-torque and/or strato saw.
    A gen1 would have a gray choke lever not blue. the compression release is on the side of the piston, not the top.
    .
    Thats Probably the 2 easiest ways of identifying a gen1 from a gen2 version. Approximately 2010 is the swich over.
