Hello. Today I travelled the old route with you. Also very nice, despite the rain. Thank you for showing. I accidentally wrote the message here yesterday. This should actually be in your second ride with the best weather and a lot of sunshine. 😊 Best regards from Germany
Wow ! I am very surprised ! Is my first time to watching here these wonderful images , but I just missed the names of stations .This is so interesting to know . Please do it next . Congratulation for beautiful country . Thank you so much .
Awesome cab ride view. I was in Sweden and Denmark two years ago. When we crossed sea between both countries by bridge, I wanted to see what train underpass below sea look like. Thanks! Mirror surfaces at both sides of rails on tunnel floor suspiciously look like water. That unfocused underwater cave association is very Nordic :) I seen similar focusing problem in tunnel darkness in more cab views here. Seems tunnel shots need to be done from different camera with fixed focus.
Although it does not cross borders. There are routes similar to Japan. It is called "Seto Ohashi Line". The route connects Okayama city to Takamatsu city, passing "Seto Ohashi" on the way.
What a nice train ride. I like the part when the train goes over the water on a bridge right next to the highway for a couple of minutes. In between it started raining as well. One thing I am yet to figure out is why did the train slow down in between despite the signal showing green.
When the train is passing a signal With 1 green light, the system “thinks” the next signal is red. So the train has to go slowly ( 40 km/h ) until the system is updatet 🤗
michaelXXLF the ride from Fredericia to copenhagen is 225km, the train has a average speed of 125km/h on this ride, and a topspeed of 180. 180km/h is the speedlimit for danish trains.
Hej! What do the eardrum piercing beep and the annoying alarm going off every now and then mean? Do you have a video that helps understanding the Danish signal system? During my training for driving engines at Hamburg I drove some freighttrains to Padborg. Neither me or my supervisor knew how to read the entrance signal before Padborg station. The supervisor: Well... nothing red, so we may go ahead. Much yellow, so I suggest 40 kmh. And that white cross ... look ahead very carefully and put your hand on the brake lever. (That was back in 2002 - 2005) Greetings, Jens
Dittersch hej 🤗 there are Many beep, and alarms in the danish trains. Some of Them is because of a reduction of speed, another one is the “deadman” alarm. When the train is at a station 1 beep means close the doors, and 2 beeps means, the Doors are Closed, and the train is permission to drive. I havent made a video about the danish signals, but i know were you Can find some information about it. www.bane.dk/Jernbanevirksomhed/Sikkerhed/Trafikale-regler/SR/SR/SR-29_05_2019
The first S-Train lines were built between the 30's and 60's and 1.5kv was a standard choice. 25kv was chosen for the mainlines for "technical reasons", but the most likely reason is that 25Kv does not require small conversion plants, which 1.5kv does. Thus it was the cheapest option.
JumboBumper thank you 😁 the first long beep is when the locomotivdriver have to close the doors. And the second long, and then the short beep means " the doors are closed you can now drive " 😊
Hello At 23:30 the train suddenly slows down though the signals were all green (partly flashing). I don´t know the danish signal system but normally green says go ahead and a distant signal before a red signal usually shows yellow. Was there a speed limit or from which hint does the train driver know that he has to slow down?
Ardey Bahner at 23:40 is there only 1 green light in the signal, that means that the next signal it properly red or a speed limit. 2 green light means that the block you are about to Enter is free, and the next block is also free. 1 green light means that only the block you're about to Enter is free.
OK that´s it. But isn´t it a bit risky that the warning of a upcoming red signal is announced by "no light" especially in bad weather conditions? Not without reason, other countries use two yellow lights oder one flashing light.
The ice line from Hamburg to Arhus will bei cancelled this December. How will the Diesel ICE trains be used on in denmark? For the Main Lines like Copenhagen to Arhus?!
The ICE TDs aren´t certified to carry passengers in the Great Belt tunnel. Therefore they wont be used on services across Denmark. There is still ONE service a day between Hamburg and Copenhagen operated by an ICE TD departing Hamburg Hbf at 09:28 arriving in Copenhagen at 14:22 it then returns at 17:37 arriving in Hamburg at 22:23. I believe that 2 trainsets are used one driving and one as a spare, but it might only be one set. These will be used until September then all Copenhagen-Hamburg services will be EuroCity-branded and operated by IC3. The rest of the ICE-TDs are stored somewhere in Germany

Etinosa Ogieva yes it did 😊 the s-line is 1,5 Kv DC, and the mainline is 25 Kv AC 😄
That is quite a leisurely ride, what's the top speed? Given that this is the major rail link in Denmark it is sloooow.

Why does the S-Line ''only'' ahve 1.5Kv and the Main 25Kv? And why does the S-Line have DC whereas the Main has AC?

Ardey Bahner the train is always updatet. There is some led lights that show you have fast you can drive and how long there are to the next signal 😄
hvad er det for et tudehorn vi hører når toget holder stille?

Er det en ATC nødbremse lige inden København H
oliver lund Christiansen ja, det er en systemfejl som udløser en nødbremse ( ATC fejl )
Togkanalen - Trainchannel - Zugkanal okay stakkels passagerer
Denne ATC fejl sker også hyppigt ved Aarhus H. Altid efter I-signalet, også ved den første dværg inden spor 2.. Men de andre spor, ingen problem..
What kind of train is it? IC4?
No. Its a ER4 and a IC3 😄
