- Charged with second-degree murder after a double shooting at a Norfolk Cookout last month, Michael Parker said from behind bars that he fired in self-defense.

The victim was a college-educated white dude. What I can't understand is why he was trying to get into this man's car. I wonder if he was drunk. The manager verified that he was trying to get into the passenger side of this man's car.

thats not what happened. The guy who was killed was another customer. The employee got a graze wound. It said this on the news (on youtube if you had actually looked it up to fact check your statement). He fired 2 shots, the first one came through the window and grazed one of the employees, the second hit the victim and he died. That's why he has 2 counts of firearm, malicious wounding, and 2nd degree murder. You didn't have a clue to what actually happened, stop pretending you do.
This is nothing but a spin and WAVY TV needs to be ashamed of themselves.

Jason C. Allred, the young man that Michael Parker shot and killed, volunteered to serve his country in the Navy. He was an IT Technician. He was a fine young man whose life was senselessly cut short. I hope his family can get justice in black racist Norfork, VA.
