Discovering a Remote Winter Shelter in the Pyrenees - Ordesa y Monte Perdido

In the midst of the winter wilderness of the Pyrenees, we ventured to the remote Caseta de la Estiva in Valle de Pineta, Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. After preparing our meals and settling into our sleeping bags, an icy storm descended upon us, keeping sleep at bay as we battled to secure the shelter's door against the relentless winds. At dawn, we emerged, weary but resilient, greeted by a stunning snow-covered landscape. Fuelled by hot coffee, we began our descent, awestruck by the majestic mountain panorama.
En medio de la naturaleza invernal de los Pirineos, nos aventuramos a la remota Caseta de la Estiva en el Valle de Pineta, Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido. Después de preparar nuestras comidas y acomodarnos en nuestros sacos de dormir, una tormenta helada descendió sobre nosotros, impidiendo el sueño mientras luchábamos por asegurar la puerta del refugio contra los vientos implacables. Al amanecer, emergimos, cansados pero resistentes, recibidos por un impresionante paisaje cubierto de nieve. Alimentados por café caliente, comenzamos nuestro descenso, impresionados por el majestuoso panorama de montañas.
