mine just says lan disconected and nothing happens. sometimes says networ error and shuts the ps4 off, and sometimes says pppwed. But never gold hen installed. Please help
Nothing happens when i turn ps4 on. I try running Internet set up and test and get Pppoe isnt correct error.

Why do youtubers not read the instructions?
That usb ethernet adapter is to have pppoe in conjunction with in built lan. Means you can choose one of them to plug to your router as usual.
The script will bridge connection after the payload is successful, means you don't have to change ANY settings on the PS4 nor plug it to your router.
Also, you can bridge connection even with rpi 4 wifi (slower but it works), so you don't need the usb adapter

Wifi is slow, Rpi 4 wifi is even slower than normal wifi devies. Just get a gigabit usb for $5-10. Gigabit speeds to install fpkg is a must.
@@jackipiegg Yes, as i wrote it's far slower. I mentioned it just for reference, i already have a gb usb adapter and it's much better
I am following all the steps, but after the 'pppwned' message, I get the error 'goldhen.bin not found.' What exactly needs to be done? Is there an additional step required for activating the binloader? Also, I've placed the 'goldhen.bin' file in the root directory of a USB, connected it to both the Raspberry Pi and the PS4. After completing the steps, the 'payloads' folder on the Raspberry Pi's SD card was empty, so I manually copied the 'goldhen.bin' file into it, but it had no effect.
Raspberry Pi Zero W works and it takes 6-7 minutes before the Jailbreak

i jailbreaked my PS4 with the pc method and it worked fine. Now im trying to do it with the Pi. When i start my PS its says "No lan cable connected" but after that nothing happens...I know thats correct but I waited about 30 Minutes and im Using a Pi 5 ! Still nothing i did exactly what the video says... anyone got an idea?

I did everything as explained, but nothing happens on PS4.
PS:
1)PC method worked for me
2) I'm using Pi zero 2W (ethernet adaptor + OTG): both the adaptor and OTG cable are tested and working fine.
3) I get "IP address Failed" while Testing Network Connection using Pi Zero 2W
4) I tried both C++ script and Python Script with Pi Zero 2W, same results.
Working with a Rasp 3b+. But now how to install games using the PKG Sender? It creates a new internal network with the raspberry, with different IP range. It is like the PS4 is in another network and cant send it

Hello. I used a pi 3b (no +) and all is fine till the popup PPPwed. Then, as soon as it try to inject the goldhen, the ps4 pro 11.0 shut down ! Any other with the dame issue ?

Insert the SD card with Pi OS installed, then plug the ethernet cable into the PS4, power it up. So how do we connect without a computer connection? When I try to connect, it always gives PuTTy connection error. I've been trying for 1 week but it doesn't work.
I couldn't connect to my PI using android device's hotspot (mobile data) with PuTTy. I needed to share the internet from windows using its hotspot (broadband), and connect to the PI with the phone using app called Termius. Also I was never able to connect with the hostname given at the Rapsberry PI Imager. I needed to input the actual IP address (shows it on the hotspot, at the connected devices). Hope that helps.

@@MonadyRawy I mean when you set up the PI Imager, you have to type wifi name and password where your PI will connect to. If you typed your home wifi and password you need access to router/ internet device's admin panel and check if your PI is connected to your network. You can see the IP address there, but if it's unclear I can help you on discord if you give me your name and I'll add you.
Is it still necessary to change the connection of the ps4 to wifi in order to use the internet or not because the raspberry pi is already connected to home wifi

Michael don't you have to set up PPPoE as "ppp" username and "ppp" password since that's what you assigned on Putty?
Yes, he missed the point of that feauture. If you want the console connects to internet after the execution of the exploit, you have to set "ppp" as username and password in your PS4 (or you must match the username and password entered during the install). It's like a network sharing between the rpi and the ps4. Doing this, you don't have to switch from lan to wifi on your ps4, nor unplug the ethernet cable from rpi and connect it to the router/switch for internet access. I'm using an rpi4 with an USB to ethernet adapter, so i have 2 ethernet, one for "rpi to router" internet access, and one for "rpi to ps4" for exploit execution (in this scenario your interface for the usb adapter should be eth1)
@@Shad8 I also have a Pi, in my case a 3B. Are you turning the console off every night? Because here's my thoughts on using a Pi for jailbreaking my PS4 so far - even with a Pi hooked up to the console you're not "supposed" to turn off the console every time you want to stop playing the games. Just because the Pi adds some automation to the process doesn't mean it is smooth sail everytime. Sometimes it fails, sometimes it appears to get stuck, something it also keeps trying to PPPwn a console although it is already PPPwned. I think in general it is still advisable to leave the PS4 on rest mode after a successful Pppwned and gameplay session. If by chance you lose power, or need to turn off the console, then yeah you can resort to the convenience of just plugging the Pi and let it do its thing. But for now, seems a bit finicky and unstable if you're trying to turn the console on and off several times just like you would with a retail PS4.
@@b4n4n0 I always turn it off because i don't play games on ps4 and i like to experiment things. But if you want the console always ready, using the rest mode is a good choice
