He's just playing with her. There's no real force or attempt to overpower her. This won't help her in a real situation. In truth, nothing can. The only time a "predator" could get so close to any child is when they already have all the power over the kid anyway. Parents, teachers, babysitters etc.They don't need to physically overpower her to convince or pressure her into doing what they want to do. This might end up useful when she's grown up, but only if she keeps at martial arts for the rest of her life.
@@dingus_doofus Although very true, there are a lot of cases of kids just being picked up and taken away from the parents, so causing any kind of commotion that will slow the aggressor down will be helpful. The man isn’t using force, but it is a class for small kids. You wouldn’t teach kids how to survive in the woods by just throwing them out in the forest. You have to teach them different steps in a controlled environment, so they won’t be overwhelmed or feel as though they can’t do the task you gave them. That way they won’t just give up or be traumatized by the experience.

What I love besides the kid coming in outta nowhere, is training a little girl to defend herself in these situations. If I have a girl, I’m going to do the same, and I think all girls should be trained at a young age also. I see too many girls scared in certain situations in public, and if they grew up like this they’d never have that fear.
Also, I’ve learned from experience, a majority (I’d say like 90%) of people on the street that like to act tough, are cowards.

Nvm that the attacker is 5 times his size and a black belt while he’s a white belt. He knew right from wrong and that the girl needed help and it was enough for him. I hope my son gains a similar fighting spirit. Not everyone has it. I would tear with pride if that was my son.
