All retrograde?? , it would generally mean that you’re searching for a direction which takes you in quite a few different directions , and it takes you a longer time to find true path in life

You cannot say Western style is not useful to read karmas, as Saturn is precisely in Libra in both charts. You can say the Vedic style is easier visually, which I agree upon, but not that the Western style chart does not represent the placements and karmas. Actually, the easiest chart is the Guru chakra, as well as South Indian is the best tradition. Why? Because for instance they knew education (from elementary to PhD) is seen only by the fourth house and not the fifth. Raman welcomed that intuition and reaffirmed it. Not that I love Raman, but he had some valid points.

Then what you’ve got to do is to try to get a clue if you were born in the morning or the afternoon and check that the moon has not changed sign if the moon didn’t change sign all day ,that’s good!! You can have a moon chart which is very very good also check the video on my channel moon chart. But if you definitely know what day you were born and you can’t find out in some way where the moon was because it’s changing sign then you can normally have a Sun chart. Create horoscope with Sun first house. However please note that the chart from the Sun is a very specific factor it’s very spiritual and it also relates to your wealth it’s something which I have to do in the future on my channel. But don’t fear , what you can definitely start to do , is to read SIGN positions of your planets , on day you were born, esp hopefully Moon sign naksastra, So you can still do dasha predictions in a general way and get so much information there

Gina, you seem to feel that your Dharma is doing this, teaching astrology in all ways, so selflessly.
So what's the significance of the directions in the surya chart?
Directions come from ascendant. You have to put that in. But Aries on top in the chart, is EXALTATION of Sun! Hence Surya Chakra.
