This is the MOST calming and encouraging explanation of Rahu/Ketu I’ve ever heard. I’ve wrestled drastically with both previously and at some point was bitter. It’s also perplexing because with this aspect one is extremely attractive and gains material possessions easily only to have the possession fickle here and there. It made me a loner as I required immense prolonged period of solitude to balance and recoup. I’m now 40 yrs old and the dust has begun to settle. People also said that I can't share things (because I was so afraid that they might loose or damage it). Also about learning how to earn money on my own and not being dependent. OMG! So so true. This is my baby girl’s placement. She’s almost 5 and started her Rahu MD. Her (and brother) moon is in 12th. Ironically, she and I have the same R/K axis but it’s flipped. She has Mercury conjunct Rahu and she’s known for her sayings lol. She doesn’t like meat but loves ice cream (Pushya rising). And if I never had to go back (to Texas) I would be OK with it. This is very accurate. I’ve experienced all the positive and negative effects of this Ketu/Rahu. I had an eating disorder in my teens, at 40 I’m still very mindful of what I eat, but from a place of health and awareness now. I don’t take any prescriptions or OTC medication, I prefer herbs. I also struggled with addiction, alcoholism. All the family and financial stuff as well. I moved far from my family and I dis-identified from my family religion, Islam. I started Rahu at 18 and it was very very difficult, I was in depression the entire time, and ended it poor. Life really started when I entered Jupiter at 33, everything changed from there. Do you have any idea why Ketu dasha has felt the BEST? It feels like HOME, I could cry. In my Mercury Dasha, I went through absolute hell. Parent troubles, family trouble in general, loss of jobs, loss of friends, loss of maternal figure. Since my Ketu dasha started, I’ve been blessed back to back to back. I feel so humbled and so grateful for the guidance I’ve been given, and even though I’m on my career path to gaining more wealth, I don’t care for it for materialism reasons - only for security, freedom, comfort for my children & above all, to serve the less fortunate. I don’t care to be flashy. I care to help people. Any research I’ve done in this placement + Ketu dasha has been so doom & gloom. But I’m here now and it’s beautiful! Very helpful insight and very true. Can relate to it and confirm much of it if I look at my life. Life put me in a position where I really had to and also wanted to do everything by myself. Moved from my birth city and country at the age of 2 and later started to live more or less on my own very young/as a teenager (due to my parents moving again to the other part of the word and me staying, as for my wish, with my grandparents). To mention just a little bit of it :D. Also started to take up school/student jobs as soon as it was possible. Its been an intense life and full of surprises for sure up until now. Some stability would really do good to my soul. And yes, been looking over my shoulder as long as I remember, never having true peace of mind (or soul). But actually it got way better by now... Currently in rahu mahadasha, so we will see how that goes. A little hard to work and give it all due to the current situation in our part of the world. But will adapt somehow, as always ... A lot of the 8th house ketu/2nd house rahu placement negative expressions are missing in my life because of a very strong Jupiter aspecting ketu/rahu. Would Jupiter aspects mitigate the negatives of this nodal exis?

I listened to the 3-9 video too but I feel this one describes my life and personality better. In tropical I'm Virgo rising, Rahu in Libra, Sun, Mercury, Venus and Ketu in Aries, Moon and Jupiter in Taurus, Saturn in Leo and Mars in Pieces. It breaks my heart that you don't do personal readings. Is there any chance you can make an exception for myself and my son? We are trying to decide if we should move to Nepal and give our son a unique life, teach him Nepali language and let him live in a more natural setting plus he'll be able to learn devotion to Krishna. When you say I need to be self reliant it makes me think I need to stay in the USA because I can earn more wealth here? I have known that I need to start my own business to be financially free but it's hard to step out on my own. I teach swimming and it can be a great bussiness. Hopefully I'll be able to do it this summer before we move. Wow! I have this placement in my aries moon chart. Rahu in taurus and ketu in scorpio. I was taken away from my family to permanently live to another foreign country at the age of 7 and ended up being systematically sexually abused. This is my baby girl’s placement. She’s almost 5 and started her Rahu MD. Her (and brother) moon is in 12th. Ironically, she and I have the same R/K axis but it’s flipped. She has Mercury conjunct Rahu and she’s known for her sayings lol. She doesn’t like meat but loves ice cream (Pushya rising). She is very intuitive and gives the best advice (my Jupiter in 5th so I definitely listen lol). For instance with my daughter, she is very fashionable even at 6. She puts her clothes together differently, I can’t really explain it lol. She also likes that Asian pop style dress, she’ll wear a ball gown and crown with LOL socks and combat boots...to school. And hates it when she sees other kids with the same shirt or wtvr of hers on. She has Leo Mer/Rahu in 2H and Venus in Libra 4H, Sun/Jup in Virgo 3H.

Oh brother this analysis describes my life perfectly. Lot's of sudden change in my youth Lord of the first and second in the eighth house too. I sense that I have to be independent but I keep working in a partnership though I believe it is helping me learn what I need in order to be independent. Family seems to be disolving and I don't think I can count on much support from inheritance. I'm four years into my Rahu dasa I know what I want, to start a small swim school. I just need to do it wish me luck!

“where you were born has a negative psychic atmosphere” so true. Was born in Texas, finally settled (for now) in Mexico City after five years of traveling as a digital nomad full-time. And if I never had to go back (to Texas) I would be OK with it. This is very accurate. I’ve experienced all the positive and negative effects of this Ketu/Rahu. I had an eating disorder in my teens, at 40 I’m still very mindful of what I eat, but from a place of health and awareness now. I don’t take any prescriptions or OTC medication, I prefer herbs. I also struggled with addiction, alcoholism. All the family and financial stuff as well. I moved far from my family and I dis-identified from my family religion, Islam. I started Rahu at 18 and it was very very difficult, I was in depression the entire time, and ended it poor. Life really started when I entered Jupiter at 33, everything changed from there. Jupiter is in the 9th with Sun, Mercury and Neptune in Sagittarius.

Do you have any idea why Ketu dasha has felt the BEST? It feels like HOME, I could cry. In my Mercury Dasha, I went through absolute hell. Parent troubles, family trouble in general, loss of jobs, loss of friends, loss of maternal figure. Since my Ketu dasha started, I’ve been blessed back to back to back. I feel so humbled and so grateful for the guidance I’ve been given, and even though I’m on my career path to gaining more wealth, I don’t care for it for materialism reasons - only for security, freedom, comfort for my children & above all, to serve the less fortunate. I don’t care to be flashy. I care to help people.
Any research I’ve done in this placement + Ketu dasha has been so doom & gloom. But I’m here now and it’s beautiful! I walked away from “friends” because Ketu showed me who they really were. I wasn’t even hurt, I was happy to have been shown the truth….

Same!! Since my Ketu Mahadasha started, I felt so much lighter than when I was in my Mercury! Mercury was the WORST experience ever, I even attempted to suicide and the last year of that Dasha was heavy. Funny how when my Ketu started, I felt so liberated. Sure it wasn't thaaat perfect, but I gained so much insight, self awareness and groundedness. Ketu in the 8H, alone, in SCORPIO by the way. I do have a Ketu nakshatra on my Ascendant if that means anything. I also have Moon, Venus and Sun in the 12H which I understand aspects my Ketu. And my Rahu is conjunct Saturn, if that explains anything.
Very helpful insight and very true. Can relate to it and confirm much of it if I look at my life. Life put me in a position where I really had to and also wanted to do everything by myself. Moved from my birth city and country at the age of 2 and later started to live more or less on my own very young/as a teenager (due to my parents moving again to the other part of the word and me staying, as for my wish, with my grandparents). To mention just a little bit of it :D. Also started to take up school/student jobs as soon as it was possible. Its been an intense life and full of surprises for sure up until now. Some stability would really do good to my soul. And yes, been looking over my shoulder as long as I remember, never having true peace of mind (or soul). But actually it got way better by now... Currently in rahu mahadasha, so we will see how that goes. A little hard to work and give it all due to the current situation in our part of the world. But will adapt somehow, as always ... A lot of the 8th house ketu/2nd house rahu placement negative expressions are missing in my life because of a very strong Jupiter aspecting ketu/rahu. Would Jupiter aspects mitigate the negatives of this nodal exis?

It breaks my heart that you don't do personal readings. Is there any chance you can make an exception for myself and my son? We are trying to decide if we should move to Nepal and give our son a unique life, teach him Nepali language and let him live in a more natural setting plus he'll be able to learn devotion to Krishna.
When you say I need to be self reliant it makes me think I need to stay in the USA because I can earn more wealth here? Wow! I have this placement in my aries moon chart. Rahu in taurus and ketu in scorpio. I was taken away from my family to permanently live to another foreign country at the age of 7 and ended up being systematically sexually abused.
