  • Can journal writing provide relief to mental health issues? Yes! Research shows that journaling 4-7 times a week can reduce depression/anxiety and other psychological illnesses. Writing helps unlock a person's ability to live more in control of their lives and achieve improved mental health.
Positive writing focuses on the positive aspects of a person's life, including positive experiences or personal strengths. When people better see how they have overcome challenges, they become more equipped to deal with current issues and problems.
Expressive journaling enables people to understand their issues more clearly or realize problems they perhaps did not. They can better understand their own 'truth' about what they want in life. With this new insight, a plan is devised to overcome life's barriers with greater clarity and ease.

I liked the pop ups. It made it interesting and they were relevant and held my attention. Often, just talking into the camera can make the presentation boring and long winded. And the advice given was great. Thank you

I don't understand why it had to be that overtly edited. These effects are so distracting. Good message otherwise.

Hi there. The videos are edited with a wide range of audiences in mind. Appreciate you liking the video and comment.

Started to make the same comment. The clicking noise/sound effects were very loud/distracting to me.

How can someone with anxiety start journaling. The very task causes anxiety: I am not doing it right, it's a waste of time, someone will read my journal, etc...

If journal writing is not for you, try something else - hydrotherapy, talking to a counselor, or meditation. Many things out there that can help.

      1. Write thoughts on phone of you think , someone will read them
      2. Start meditation . It will channelize your thoughts so that you can clearly see what you are thinking

Start writing down these very thoughts of "I am not doing it right". The act of writing it down helps you to process it, Literally just write down whatever pops up in your mind, not matter what. There doesn't need to be any coherence, just write whatever words come up. Start there

Wow the editing of this video reminds me of someone who just learnt how to do presentation on PowerPoint .. overkill with animation and constant showing off ..
This is assuming people are stupid and need animations for the effect

This channel would affect your mental health! Why not just speak to the camera/viewer. The constant cutting and pop ups is ridiculous, so distracting and annoying, never seen a channel so badly affected with it.
