A secret door that's leads to a beach full of your childhood friends and the parents create a bonfire and someone plays beautiful Irish music with guitar and we all toast marshmallows....I want to change the narrative of my childhood...I want to imagine my memories so different...I would love u to add the magic to wot I imagine so so many of us never experienced ❤️..I want my childhood to be a beautiful story thru your words ❤️
@@MichellesSanctuary A friend and band mate moved to my town when I was in 7th grade. He had an older cape cod style house built in late 40’s it had a sloped door in his attic bedroom where we found a ouiji board really old wood one from previous owner imagine we played on it twice if you want I’ll tell you what happened I’ll never play on one again. There were a few attic storage compartments in this house I was initially enthralled but not so much after ouiji board
When I retired I moved back to my childhood home. I enjoyed this story very much, but also hope you will continue your Cozy Launderette and Three Witches series. I see to always come back to those. 😊

Hey michelle. I've been one of your subscribers from almost the beginning. I always am so excited about Sundays and then when I see that you bless us with another guided sleep meditation during the week always is so exciting . I wanted to listen to this one so bad because it seemed like a great one. I listen every Sunday or Monday morning when I wake up I listen to it again because I usually fall asleep halfway through the meditation. But this one for me unfortunately was a trigger because of abuse of all kinds by my biological parents and then the 6th of us kept going in and out of foster care until they finally put us up for adoption. My adoptive mom was mentally abusive towards me. So my childhood has nothing but horrible memories. I went into this meditation trying to imagine me having a great childhood but my mind wouldn't let me. It's so weird because every Sunday when you drop your video I literally can put myself in the meditation like I was on vacation with your stories which I absolutely love. But I just want to tell you you are amazing and truly the best sleep guided meditation stories there is on youtube. So I'm not going to listen to this one but I meditate in the morning so I'm going to turn on another one of yours like I always do and I think I'm going to do the 4 hours at the witches Cottage
I think it's great that you know what works for you and I apologize for any cruelty you suffered as a child. It was completely undeserved. There will be many more secret room stories in other places-- I got an idea for a new one after visiting this regal theatre this week with a friend thought it would be the perfect place for a secret room. @@MichellesSanctuary I love all the tropical pics my childhood fave holiday spot is a national park where mother turtles lay eggs. we also went to FAr North Queensland Australia. So I pictured all turtle themed posters and books including peotry by Samantha Collins . I have her book in print somewhere but can find nothing of her online .

I started to listen but got repeatedly interrupted by reality so I again listened where I left off and got done reading your voice speeded up like a chipmunk on amphetamines it did it a few times son I lost some if your words hopefully later tonight it won’t happen. I had three bedrooms in my childhood home I was the youngest and always thrown out if bedrooms. The first was because my sister entered puberty the second was I shared a room with older brother he got married moved out then grandmother who had upstairs room passed away so I took her room as my old room was converted into a den. That room was next to laundry room where crawl space was so when you went there that was the room but footy Jamie’s was 7 years earlier so I had to keep modifying. Actuality I had 4 bedrooms cause later on I moved back to original room to accommodate my drum set. Thinking about this now I realize being evicted from one room to another was very traumatic. Just kidding. Great memories from all of them. My dog went from room to room with me. Drums only two rooms and the garage at one point where I had band practices. I’ll have to adjust my spaces later when listening but so far what I heard even the chipmunk part was very enjoyable. I still dream of my childhood home now and then even the smell the lighting the views out the window the family the richness and joy I felt the magic I lived the sense of wonder. I idolized my big brother my deepest desire was to be a teenager. Funny when k became one my fondest memories were my elementary school years. You can certainly tell a hell of a story.
Wow it could be fun to listen with a different room in mind each time. Writing last week’s story had me thinking about the wood paneled walls in the trailer that was my first home. I was so disappointed when I’d looked in my closet after a dream about a secret room and it would just look ordinary.
So sorry about this Michelle but after listening to this last night it made me have nightmares due to the fact that it took me back to my unhappy childhood in my mind. I woke up soaking wet with sweat and physically shaking. I have listened to you for a number of years and this was defo one of the worst stories for me to listen to and encounter. I really hope the next one has a better, more relaxing effect for me.
I’m so sorry you endured that. I put a warning for what is contained so if it’s too much you are warned in advance. You deserve peace and healing and so sorry. I had a very difficult childhood myself and certain periods were what helped me create a fantasy world to escape to.
I have been a listener, subscriber and donor for many years. I don’t understand the phase you are going through right now. They aren’t stories anymore. They are musings about a time and place. With throw pillow affirmations. What is going on?
What stories are you favourites? I"ll create something in that style. The reason is I get requests-- I have so many different preferences of style and story and I try and meet all of them. What would you rather here? And I have done stories like this in the past-- many actually.
Thank you for your reply! I couldn’t begin to list my favorites. The Cotswold series, the Laundry club, traveling to Manchu Pichuand beyond! But in the stories I love, you pick us up, go on a journey with us and then drop us off in an a cozy bed. That’s what makes you different from everyone else.

My grandparents house had a room through the wardrobe in my bedroom. We called it narnia, I slept there when the whole family stayed over.
