The way that you talk about their sparkly shades makes them sound gorgeous. And some of these color stories look amazing. It almost makes me wish I enjoyed wearing more extreme color. Your makeup looks particularly lovely in this video, Ivy! Thanks for a great video!
I LOVE Glamlite’s formulas and I think their color stories are so beautiful and thoughtful. Personally, I’m always less interested in IP collabs, so I do hope they start doing some of their own collections again in future. It looks like they’ve discontinued some of my favorite palettes and their site is like 100% IP at the moment 🙃 The look you created is gorgeous!
YESSS i needed this video! Juliet convinced me to buy from TikTok shop and i've been trying to curate an order. Their sale rn is bonkers so I really want to pick up a couple things!
I just got the Garfield palette this year and have definitely loved it. Their Rick and Morty palette lives rent free in my head because I do have so many of the matte shades, but it's also so pretty. Lol. I too think they need to do better with brand swatches.
i agree w u SO MUCH lol. i felt like their food themes could have been more intriguing if they maybe had done something FUN design-wise w the food palettes aside from making them shaped so literally lol. i feel like they play around more w design elements while keeping the shape of the palette more practical/functional. i really didn't find their color stories that were food themed very fun either, it just felt like rearranged rainbows (which they still kiiinda do but they've rly expanded their color stories w the diff IPs). and yes their swatch photography is just.. not enticing at all. i also got the ghostface palette when i saw the looks ppl did w them! they're doing themselves a huge disservice!!
The reason I overlooked Glamlite for so long is because I only tried their Ice Cream Dream palette from ages ago and the shimmers didn't wow me. But it sounds like they've really improved things! Some of the grungy palettes are really calling to me!! And i have a feeling their smooth shimmers will make great bases for shade cascades with some of my indie singles!!
The look you’re wearing in this video is seriously so gorgeous and I almost went straight in and bought some glamlite palettes 😂 Though I haven’t purchased much eyeshadow this year (well, that’s to say, my finger slipped on the Natasha denona website yesterday and added to cart). Anyways, I’m not about to amass a lot of eyeshadows now because I am in a very basic era of makeup right now 😂
Glamlite quality is so good! Their tiktok sales are a steal. I definitely recommend trying their highlighters. They are very sparkly but I use them on my eyes all the time.
I still agree with your old self about the theming not being classy in the way I want my makeup to feel. I don't mind this brand exists, it's just not for me and my makeup collection.
The 2 things that stopped me from trying them are the price (in Europe they are EXPENSIVE, definitely not 10 bucks a palette but more like 40/50), and the darkness. I la the color of paper, I don't do dark makeup on a daily basis, and most of their mattes and shimmers are medium to really dark.
Follow up - I just got the Garfield palette on TikTok shop 🙃
LOL OMG 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’m literally wearing it today!
@@Mostlymatte I absolutely picked this up entirely because of you!
That palette is my favourite. It’s gorgeous!

You are the best and so sweet for this comment 💗 I like doing neutral looks with colorful palettes 😂
@@Betterthanbasicivy Neutral looks with a colorful palette: that's very much what I would do. ;-)

The way I covet your Martini palette from them... every time you pull it out I drool!
@@Betterthanbasicivy love my babies 🥲
@@BetterthanbasicivyI will always regret not getting that one… it still lives rent free in my mind 🥲

Waiting with bated breath to hear what you pickup. Pls report back!

I definitely gather (from my sources lol) that the brand has definitely come a long way formula-wise :) My experience has all been quite good!
Exactly! I totally agree!!!!!! Plus after watching this I want to try the Ghostface palette ❤❤❤
It’s my second fave palette from them!

“My finger slipped on Natasha Denona sale” needs to be on a shirt 😂

Don't think I haven't been eyeing the Ghost Face highlighters...
@@Betterthanbasicivy The Rick and Morty and Scooby Doo highlighter palettes are 🤤🤤🤤 I hope they get restocked!
I've been tempted a few times over the years, but it is so many releases that I don't buy because it is overwhelming.
They do come out with A LOT.
Good morning! ❤❤❤❤
My love hath arrived ❤️

Yeah it’s a clear vibe that it either something you want or don’t and I respect both!

Omg wow that is so high priced in Europe!
