I agree with her. I did the old bump and grind for 20 years. Working for a wealthy corporation making them rich like working myself to the bone. Then seven years ago my husband and myself woke up. I decided to open a cleaning business. Six months into that new cleaning business I had a contract with the federal government cleaning an IHS medical facility. That one contract alone makes me more money in one year than I’ve ever made in my entire life. I only have to do the cleaning three days a week each time 2 1/2 hours and that’s it. We just barely renewed the contract for an additional five years. And I’m very blessed to have been able to get what I asked for in the bidding process. It’s funny because I make more money with my little old cleaning business than a lot of the doctors that work in this clinic. The other business that we decided to run was a trucking business. I run that business as well alongside my husband and I even got my CDL license back in April. I never thought I’d be a trucker but when you’re doing it for yourself it’s a whole different story. Side hustle, side hustle, side hustle. Exactly what that second woman said. It’s so true, even though we have the two businesses, I still do my side hustles. I paint Jack Skellington ornaments and between the months of September and December every single year I can pull more side money. Doing something that I like to do. Let me rephrase that…. I love to do it actually. I might have to sit there for hours painting these ornaments. But it’s just cool knowing that my ornaments are literally being sent to all different places around the world and they’re on somebody’s Christmas tree thousands of miles away. So if you took the time to read all of this all I can say is chase your dreams. Work hard and don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t do it because it is very much possible. You can be successful at anything. Good luck out there everyone! And I would like to add I ran away from home when I was 15 years old. I never even finished high school. Those 20 years that I worked for other big corporations I was a food and beverage Director. Worked my way up from a waitress and then every position in between until I was the highest position I could be. The last place I worked was in Vegas it was a big casino and I had eight restaurants under me and over 250 employees. God bless everyone ❤️

Not necessarily. The area wasn’t then what it is today. It boomed like crazy to make it so expensive now. There are places in the country where you can buy for $180k today but no one knows whether or not they’ll blow up like the Valley did. These people took time out of their day to talk to a random guy with a camera, gotta respect that. Also, I think most people get rich by doing something they love. This was actually a good honest segment, no goofy stuff. I like how honest that older gentleman was about how different the landscape is today for younger people. The ppl that were interviewed at the beginning that started their careers 25 yrs ago... that was per-recession. I started my career just under 20 yrs ago and those 5 yrs make a huge a difference. I graduated college right in the midst of the recession. The #1 thing all of these ppl said (the Nigerian guy was the best!) is HARD WORK! Nothing in life comes easy. Pick something you enjoy doing and your good at and you will find success because you will be motivated to get up and hustle every day. That's the only way. Also, a whole lot of luck and taking advantage of opportunities, which is what all these people definitely conveyed.

The main takeaway: Fortune favors the willing.
    1) Be ready and willing to work hard and not give up. Keep an eye out for opportunity.
    2) Don't freak out when you're young. Success takes time.
    3) Enjoy the journey.
My own personal learning (not that anyone asked)... It's easier than you think. If you're like me and grew up mostly around people who aren't super successful, it can make you think there is some trick or secret to success that they just haven't figured out. The truth is actually more difficult to accept. It's not that hard. There's no trick to it. Steady determination and TIME will get you to where you want to be.

and not everyone will go to or complete higher education (google high paying jobs w/o a college degree)
    There’s always sole entrepreneur etc.
    Follow your passion!!! 😊😊
Rejection in any form may discourage us but sometime -even rejection, can be a redirection to a new game plan.
eventually we will end up in the right place, so just write it down check it off and move forward one step at a time one step at a time.

What we don’t get to hear in a lot of these “how are you so rich” segments is that many people who are ultra-wealthy come from a certain level of wealth and support. It’s a LOT easier and practical to “chase your dreams” when you can repeatedly fall back on financial/emotional safety nets and get back up. Even in my case… going to college right now… some students spend hours on a bus just to get to school, others get dropped off in a Tesla. I don’t care what anyone says… that’s two completely different playing fields when it comes to time, money, and connections. I guess my point is that everyone has their own starting point and it can be unhealthy to compare yourself to someone who had an incredible head start and has constant support.
