My fave island in the country so far! Bantayan is truly a magical place. We’ve been there in 2017 and the experience was really remarkable! Someday, we will back to that majestic island!
Hi Dianne. It was just a 4day short trip. Budget depends on what you want to do and where you want to stay in Bantayan. There are cheap basic accomodations starting at 600 pesos. Of course there are better hotels but quite expensive. Island hopping going to virgin island is around 1k. Better share it with a group. Hiring a tricycle is around 500 which the driver would take you to different spots but not for the whole day. If you know how to drive a motorcycle, better rent one. Lots of food choices from cheap to expensive restos. I cant remember how much i had spent for the trip. But here are the things that must be factored in your budget: roundtrip fare 500php, accomodation 1000pesos per day, 1000 for the island hopping cheaper if with group, tricycle rent 500 (again cheaper if with a group) and food - depends on you. And set aside some money for the night parties 😊😅
Most of the activities are in Kota Beach. You can also visit the virgin islands which has water activities as well but would need you to tale a boat tour going there. Would suggest going to Kota beach.
