Honestly, if anything, it’d make more sense for a substory / game of Yuta, though they don’t really need a portion of the game for the 3. A concept I had for a substory for Yuta is something along the lines of “Yuta going Christmas shopping for Haruto, and the things he wants aren’t in stock in Okinawa, so he heads to Kamurocho / Ijincho.”

People don’t aren’t a big fan of Yakuza 6 because of the some of the map being inaccessible, but just look at the story. It is beautiful. (Other than the boat plot)
Yakuza 6's narrative is incredible, Yamato II included. The implications its existence serves for the corruption of the Japanese government is more than major enough for the way it was treated in the narrative. Most of the western fanbase just lacks the cultural knowledge of its significance.
Currently watching Crystaaaahl’s entire Yakuza play through (That is from 0 to Like A Dragon.), can’t wait to see her heart melt. Also, Yakuza 3 was the game that finally made me feel something. When Rikiya died, and Kiryu was howling into the night sky, it sparked an emotion I hadn’t felt in A long time. Glad to have been able to play Yakuza.
She had a great playthrough then made a stupid decision and played the last game in English lmao you could tell that she wasn't enjoying it as much but she had too much pride to switch it
Bro I broke down when i thought Kiryu died💀I ain’t even played all the Yakuza games,im just now playing 3.4 and 5.I played kiwami 1,2 and song of life.Beautiful game,only thing I have to complain about is the fighting styles missing from 3,4,5 and the change of combat in kiwami 2 and 6.But all jokes aside the best squad is Date,Kiryu,Majima,Akiyama,Saejima and definitely Nishiki.

I’m playing yakuza 0 and kinda crazy how they foreshadowed pretty much Kiryu’s future during the sub story about the man who changed his face and disappeared so his wife and son can have a normal life and he would watch them at the park.
My first Yakuza was "Like a Dragon". I already knew about Kiryu but with no much context other than he was the guy from the other entries. Then I played Yakuza 0 and oh boy... I got enchanted by this franchise. A year and 6 games later, I already knew that Kiryu was "fine" (but arguably) that ending was more emotional than him dying for real... it dod hit me harder than I expected. HOPEFULLY "Infinite wealth" would give the closest to a "happy ever after" to Kiryu, please RGG give a big fat W to our guy over here.
