I don't think that is an issue for super mecha godzilla, his first deployment isn't made for offensive it made for defensive, the idea you should using it to build up a defensive against opponent up coming big push not an offensive tool against opponent like other unit
G54 Tokyo version's buffs also massively help him out especially against the chibi duo and ive noticed that if you spawn the chibi duo on the left its actually worse cuz chibi mechagodzilla won't be knocked away when chibi godzilla gets low cuz of the wall this is super beneficial for G54 tokyo ver and other aoe units
Yeah, since his buff I've been using him in each game I can put him in, even over GMK. I always liked him and used him, have him at 15+ so I think he's in a great spot.

That first spawn animation is one of the worst things in the game, Toho did NOT cook with it
