FAEEZ HALIM LIVE AT MALAYSIA DRUM DAY 2022

Faeez started playing drums while studying in Victoria Institution Kuala Lumpur. Back then he was a member of the school’s cadet corp marching band as a drummer and had participated in numerous national and international marching band competitions. After high school, he pursued his diploma in music majoring in percussion and drums in UiTM. Faeez holds a degree in music performance from UiTM. He is also a founding member and drummer for a local rock band - Drama Band, which is widely known for their popular songs on the radio and also tunes being used in soundtracks for movies and tv shows. Drama Band has also been nominated in several different local music award celebrations. Faeez journey so far has been supported by an endorsement deal with @bentleymusic_my and @pearl_drums , The Best Reason to play drums.
Malaysia Drum Day 2022 was supported by Kementerian Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia(K-KOMM) through Dana Kandungan Digital, Program Muzik Malaysia 2021. The program was produced under the Ecosystem Grant which focuses on the talent development stage as well as the platform of a project that involves the creation, production, collection and publication or generation of content in the music industry whether the content is published in collaboration with an institution (university/college/government body or related agency).
The event was held on 24 and 25 October 2022 in Experimental Theatre, Aswara. 10 artist drummers plus 6 guest performers highlighted their talent and skills as well as sharing their ideas and experiences working in the industry.
